The Two Towers, "Le due torri", both of them leaning, are the symbol of Bologna, and probably the most prominent one. Until 1919, there were actually 5 towers in this square. Bologna was always known as the city of towers, “La Turrita”, as over the centuries, particularly between the 12th and the 13th century, the city had possibly over 200 towers.Almost all them were tall (the highest being 97 m), defensive stone towers. There are now 25 towers left without counting the hundreds of bell towers in the city. The taller one of the pair is called the Asinelli while the smaller but more leaning tower is called the Garisenda. Their names derive from the families which are traditionally credited with constructing them between 1109 and 1119.The Asinelli Tower was used by the scientists Giovanni Battista Riccioli (in 1640) and Giovanni BattistaGuglielmini (in the following century) for experiments to study the motion of heavy bodies and the earth rotation. Bologna’s towers were cited several times by Dante in the Divine Comedy and The Rhymes (a confirmation of his stay in Bologna), and by Goethe in his Italian Journey. The Two Towers have also been the subject of an eponymous poem by Giosuè Carducci as part of the Barbarian Odes. Charles Dickens wrote about the towers in his Pictures from Italy. In World War II, between 1943 and 1945, it was used as a sight post: during bombing attacks, four volunteers took post at the top to direct rescue operations to places hit by Allied bombs.Later, a RAI television relay was installed on top.Architect Minor Yamasaki is thought to have been inspired by the Towers when designing the World Trade Center during the 1960s.

The Palazzo del Podestà, in Piazza Maggiore, was the first site of the city government exercised by the mayor, his judges and officials. The Torre dell’Arengo was immediately erected alongside, a bell tower used to muster the citizens in the case of extraordinary events.Of great interest is the Voltone del Podestà with its unique acoustic effect that permits visitors to speak to each other from the opposite corners of the archway. The facade was added by Giovanni II Bentivoglio and Ginevra Sforza during their “reign” of the city. On the arches you can spot the symbols of all the noble families (and the guilds) that participated and paid, some no longer exist.

The square of Machollère is located in the center of Bologna, built in 1200, to the north is two medieval palaces built in the early 13th century, and to the south is the cathedral of St. Peterronio, which was built in 1390 AD and has not yet been completed. In the middle of the square is an open-air cinema with movies (and advertisements) every night. Bologna is my favorite Italian city, with simple and elegant architecture, clean and tidy. There is the first university in Europe, the University of Bologna. Bologna is a wealthy city, Ferrari, Maserati and other famous car brands were born here.

Legend has it that half of the halls that are not built will be built. It feels good if they are built. It feels that the front shape is rough, like a large factory, the murals here are quite exquisite, and the style of the building is very good.

The main church of Modena, built in the 12th century, is the most outstanding example of Roman style art, and its author is the two great artists Langfranco and Willie Gertz. The porch is typical of Roman style, with a solemn front, a strong column and a simple sculpture.

The Fountain of Neptune or just “Il Nettuno” as locals call it, it’s also known as "al Zigânt" (the Giant) in Bolognese dialect because of the size of the statue of Neptune. At the time of its construction it was a symbol of the power of the Pope, who ruled the world like Neptune ruled the seas. At the feet of the statue, in fact, lie four little angels, representing Gange, the Nile, the Amazon and Danube, the rivers of the continents known at the time. The trident of the statue inspired and it was used by Maserati brothers as emblem for their first car, the Maserati Tipo 26. This is still today the logo of the Maserati car company. The fountain and its sculpture are one of the most iconic symbols of the city and references to them can be found in many symbols, commercials and logos. The historical students' fraternity (Goliardia) "Excelsa Neptuni Balla", has two tridents on its emblem. The Bolognese anecdote also tells of a particular expedient implemented by Giambologna, who intended to find a way to make Neptune with realistic genitals, without being discovered and admonished by the Church. The sculptor designed the statue in such a way that from a particular angle the thumb of Neptune's outstretched hand seems to emerge directly from the lower abdomen, making him suggest the (erect) genital; as proof of the same, in the pavement of the square there is a black stone, also called "of shame" placed in a very specific point in piazza del Nettuno (to be precise at the foot of the entrance stairway to the Salaborsa library) which facilitates its vision.

rocchetta mattei Rocchetta Mattei The castle is located on a scenic hilltop between Bologna and Florence and was built in the 19th century by the strange doctor Enrico Matai (Enrico Mattei)). The doctor is very good, and his patients are Tsar Alexander II, Bavarian King Ludwig III and Queen Austria. Elizabeth (Sissi). Dostoyevsky also mentioned him in his novel The Karamazov Brothers. He studied alternative medicine and mysticism, and the castle was full of different religions and mystical symbols. He thought, Building a building with towers and antennas on the ruins of an old castle has the potential to capture energy and put it into some kind of "medicine". Thus giving people a certain mysterious energy. Rocchetta Mattei has a labyrinth of interconnected rooms, courtyards, passages, stairs and towers, And a unique blend of medieval to Middle Eastern and Moorish styles. In the most spectacular rooms, there are Sala dei Novanta(90 dynasties halls, stunning replicas of the interior of the chapel, Mezquita of Cordoba and the Lion Courtyard, inspired by the bizarre palace of the Alhambra Courtyard in Granada, Combined with countless architectural styles, from medieval to arabic, it has symbolic meanings of various religions, legends and myths. It is said that visitors can feel a strange spirituality here, which pervades the room. Transmit the spiritual intention of "nothing you see", such as the house you see is not what you see. How to visit? The castle was only reopened in 2015 to book the itinerary in advance and pay the fee (adult, 10 euros per person) because the number of people received every day is very small, so be sure to book every corner, every stone, every wall of the itinerary has different, strange, Curiosity is worth observing and speculating. What is this, what does this mean, why is this, all these different ideas come together to produce the most beautiful, elegant and precise city for the guide to take you to explore the castle, will tell you a lot of interesting stories about the castle about an hour to visit D? From home to Italy by car: just 1 hour drive from Bologna @ Bologna, there are many beautiful small villages, churches and natural scenery nearby, so you can have a very nice weekend

Labirinto Della Masone The maze is located in Fontanellato, near the Italian city of Palma, covering an area of 6.8 hectares. The maze, designed by former art publisher Franco Maria Ritchie and architects Pierre Carlo Bonzalpi and David Duto, is more than 10 times the size of an American football stadium and has a total path length of 2.9 kilometers. In this labyrinth, more than 30 subspecies of bamboo grow rapidly, and hedges can be up to 5 meters high. The labyrinth is Roman style, with straight angles in four interconnected quadrants. In Ritchie's view, bamboo is a remarkable plant, it has no common diseases, and it also has the characteristics of purifying carbon dioxide in the air, as well as winter evergreen. In addition to this complex maze, there is a collection of about 500 artworks from the 1500s to the 20th century by Franco Maria Rizzi and a library. The library is dedicated to the collection of some of the most outstanding and famous books, including most of the works of Bodonia and Alberto. At the center of the maze is a 2044 square meter square surrounded by colonnades. The spacious square space will be the venue for music, gatherings, exhibitions and other cultural events. On one side of the square there is a pyramid-shaped church overlooking the square, giving the venue a religious identity.

After visiting the town known as Little Venice by boat, after passing through the jungle with a century-old tree, you will also enter the silent area. Because there are still residents around, you can't make loud noises when passing by. It reflects the harmony of people and nature and humanistic care.
