The road to Milk Sea is much smoother than Five-Color Sea, so adapt in advance. 5, Don't bring too much food, just bring necessities. There are food in the scenic area, although it's a bit more expensive than outside, but too much stuff is really a big burden when climbing. Because if you have altitude sickness + fatigue, you really can't carry anything. 6, Milk Sea is not allowed to enter after three o'clock in the afternoon, don't waste too much time in front. 7, Take the electric car to Luorong Cattle Farm before six o'clock in the afternoon. 8, Choose a time when the weather is good to go, you can see the reflection of the snow mountain on a sunny day. 9, You can't take a bath or wash your hair on the first day you arrive in Daocheng, it's easy to get altitude sickness. 10, If you want to ride a horse, you need to enter the scenic area before 9 o'clock. If possible, it's better to be at the entrance of the scenic area at 7 o'clock, because there are few horses and you have to queue for a long time if you don't go early. 11, The wind at Milk Sea and Five-Color Sea is very strong, you need to bring a hat (not a duckbill cap, it's useless), and also wear a windproof and rainproof fleece jacket.

It's a place where you'll regret not going for a lifetime, but regret going for eight lifetimes. The altitude at the entrance is already over 3000 meters, and just climbing to the ticket office is tiring. You can buy tickets in advance or directly at the entrance, which is very convenient. It is recommended to purchase tickets online during the peak season. The ticket and shuttle bus are a must-buy, and after walking 400 meters, you'll reach the place where you must take the electric cart!!! (Actually, even walking these 400 meters is tiring.) Then walk about another 400 meters to reach the horse riding spot. You must ride!!! I personally couldn't even climb the stairs after getting off the horse. It's said to be a 1.6-kilometer journey, and I was exhausted. The high altitude sickness and the steep stairs are really too much for an ordinary person. I reached the top around 12 o'clock, and countless times I wanted to give up. The scenery is truly beautiful, but life is also really important. If you can't handle it, don't try it lightly. Also, if you want to enjoy the scenery, you can totally do so on the way back down the original path, taking in the views at your leisure!! It's advised to go light with an oxygen can, some cola, chocolate, a windproof jacket, and medicine for motion sickness and high altitude sickness (you'll get motion sickness on the one-hour bus ride), plus a hiking stick. That's all you need. Carrying too much stuff is a burden, and you'll be too tired to have a big appetite anyway. For those who are eager to try, I suggest considering your own physical condition and acting accordingly. On my way back, I dissuaded a group of people who were still struggling to climb. If you're going, it's better to start early. I had been walking down for an hour and a half, and there were still people climbing up. They don't allow you to go up to Milk Sea after 2:30 pm. Start at 7:30 am, stay nearby the day before, take whatever transportation is available to shorten the journey, and then climb up. Only then will ordinary people have enough time to reach the top!
