Named for the dark bamboos on the edge of the house, this is where Shen Shirentang (1504-1551) lived and where his son Ligu (a scholar and politician in the Korean era) was born. The building was built in the 11th generation of Wang Zhongzong (1506-1544) in North Korea (1392-1910) and belongs to the oldest wooden house in South Korea.
