Huanhu East Road

Huanhu East Road, as the name implies, is the road located on the east side of Qinghai Lake. This is also the only way we can enter Qinghai Lake Scenic Area from Xining. Because I just entered Qinghai Lake, there are still a lot of vehicles here. Everyone should be careful in the process of driving, but in the process of small new ones, you will find that the scenery here is very beautiful. On one side is the endless grassland or the rolling mountains, while on the other side is the blue Qinghai Lake.

The starting point of Huanhu East Road is Xihai Town, and the end point is the national road 109 Qinghai Lake fishing farm fork. The starting point of Xihai Town is China's first nuclear weapons development base. This little-known mysterious exclusion zone has spawned the first atomic bomb and hydrogen bomb in New China.

As the wheels rolled forward on Huanhu East Road, the beautiful pasture on both sides of the road slowly became sparse until it disappeared, even the grass color was getting more and more yellow, and it was replaced by endless deserts. The golden desert is more obvious than the dark asphalt road, where the magnificent beauty of Huanhu Road is crowned again.

From Xining to rent a car, feel different scenery, two days of itinerary, first to Chaka Salt Lake, then to Damei Qinghai Lake, the road encounters yak that can't be provoked, Tibetans say a yak is 4 or 50,000 nibs, you have to give them the way first, just live in the lakeside homestay, get up in the morning, I saw the beautiful and quiet Qinghai Lake. Don’t miss the desert on Huanhu East Road. You can take pictures of Qinghai Lake after climbing to the top. I also encountered a small climate of rain and hail by the lake. The unexpected joy on the road.

At 6 o'clock in the morning, I sorted out my bags and rushed to Xining Bus Terminal to take the first bus to Xihai Town. I officially started the four-day ride around the lake. From the town, I went downhill all the way to Huanhu East Road. During the ride, everyone gradually completed the running and adaptation of the car. However, the nearly 6 kilometers uphill into Huanhu East Road still gave us a dismount. The middle section of Huanhu East Road is a desert section. The road crosses the Hudongsha Island Scenic Area. The entire Shadao Scenic Area mainly provides some basic amusement projects such as desert cross-country, sandboarding, camel riding. We only hurry up and have no time and experience to play these things.
