An old company that is said to have existed since the end of the 14th century. It became a battlefield during the Hakodate War, and it is famous that the Enomoto army applied for surrender here. It is closer to Goryokaku Station than the middle point of JR Hakodate Station and Goryokaku Station, and tourists do not visit unless they are a fan at the end of the Edo period, but it is quiet and quaint, and the annual festival is 9/15.

Takeaki Enomoto, the former Shogunate army, and Keisuke Otori, who were at Kameda Hachimangu, which is a 5-minute walk from the middle of Hakodate Station and Goryokaku Station, on May 17, 1869 at the end of the Boshin War. We exchanged a pledge of surrender with Kiyotaka Kuroda and others of the new government army. The place where the discussions were arranged was this old hall of worship.
