Great visitor center for islands and Parks near Homer, definitely worth your time.
Wonderful visit and movie; most of us don’t get to visit the Aleutian Islands and their millions of sea birds. This was an informative visit and movie and the staff were very friendly.
It was closed in mid-September because “There are many cases of COVID in Alaska.” It is not a coherent explanation, they might require barbers, distance, etc.
In the center there is even a small museum, quite interesting. We tried to take a tour there - flying on the plane. tours there do not give, but all places where we can agree to give us. The center itself is external ...
