The view from the top is very beautiful. Going from the bottom to the top takes about two hours. The track is easy, there are a few steep parts, but overall it's normal. The hiking trip can only take 3-4 hours, if you follow a leisurely hike. If you go fast, you can reach the top in 2 hours. Mount Alai is considered a newly opened mountain, so the route for trekking is not perfect yet. so make sure not to get separated from group membersGulung Alai is part of the conversation forest, and hence we should get our hiking permit from the forestry department (Jabatan Perhutanan)
