fushimi ward is a place that where u must visit in Kyoto. it’s a bit crowded in the entrance but once you go further inside,it’s a different kind of world there. and the site has a lot of interesting things where you couldn’t see in any other places in Japan. definitely recommand everyone to visit there.

A must visit for anyone visiting Kyoto. It does get busy but if you are able to try to go past the first couple of "stop points" and then you pretty much have the gates to yourself and great photo opportunities. Otherwise you need to get there early morning if you want to avoid crowds. Loads of vending machines along the way for drinks but be warned there are no buns so bring a bag to take all your rubbish. Takes about 40mins to make it to the top so give yourself about 2 hours for a round trip with breaks.
