Temple of Koyasan Shingon sect in Okinawa

    Original Text

It is a temple of Mt. Koya opened by a monk who drifted from Kumano in Wakayama Prefecture. The traditional Okinawa red tiles shine well in the blue sky. You can also visit the cave. It's dark, so it's better to have a flashlight. There is a parking lot in front of the mountain gate.

    The beginning of Ryukyu Hachisha

    Original Text

It is a temple and shrine that started the eight Ryukyu shrines. When I knew it and looked it up, I went to the Koyasan Shingon sect Kinbu Kannonji Temple and the Kumano shrine. Somehow calm and nostalgic feeling Even if you say that you go to the shrine on your right after visiting the temple, it is in a limestone cave, so you can go down the steep stairs to worship. Be careful because it is dark and your feet slip. Is the red stamp a shrine office? Temple office? But I was away at first 2 hours ...

A temple with a limestone cave

    Original Text

It is a temple of the Shingon sect in Kinbu, central Okinawa. It is one of the eight Ryukyu shrines. It is said to be a temple opened by Nisshu Shonin, who drifted around here, after crossing the sea from Kumano Nachi in Wakayama. It is a temple like Okinawa. There is a limestone cave in the precincts, but it is dark and you can't go inside. The temple was rebuilt in the Showa period, but it seems to be one of the few temples that were not damaged by the war.

    Existing prewar temples

    Original Text

A temple that retains its old shape. I would like to ask for the restoration of Shuri Castle in this form. The limestone cave is Kinbugu and is one of the eight Ryukyu shrines. The red stamp is only Kannonji.

    Temple of Ryukyu Hachisha

    Original Text

It is the temple of the eight Ryukyu shrines, which is the farthest from the airport. A temple that has a taste that has not been destroyed by fire in the war. I went to pray because it seems that there is a benefit of prosperous business.
