Historic control gate for Edo& Kyoto
Very historic place .The important Sekisho which is the control gate of old Edo era road Nakasendo. Even the princes of the emperor had passed here to go to Tokyo in the 18th century. The people here ...
I climbed the stairs from the free parking lot on the road below. I arrived 15 minutes before the closing, so I confirmed it, but it was helpful to say "look slowly". It has been restored as in the past, and it is irresistible for highway lovers. When I returned, the kind woman at the reception taught me in detail about Kiso Fukushima, which was a great learning experience.
Fukushima Sekisho is almost the center of Nakasendo. It is an important barrier along with Hakone, Arai, and Nakasendo Suzuki on the Tokaido. The current building has been restored, but the terrain is suitable for barriers that you can't go to without passing through here. The bills and receipts are also worth seeing.
At the barrier of Nakasendo, Kiso Fukushima-juku was a prosperous place in the Edo period. It was on a hill and I think the view was good. Yamamura Daikan Yashiki is located on the opposite bank of the river, and swords, guns, paintings and sentences are exhibited at the barrier.
It is the standard of Kiso Fukushima sightseeing (^^) / ~~~

Fukushima Sekisho is one of the four major barriers in Japan and is located almost in the middle of Nakasendo. As a key point, we cracked down on 「 Iritegun 」「 Dejo 」. Inside the museum, there are many exhibits that remind you of the past. If you wear a commemorative photo kit and take a picture, it will definitely be a good memorial.
