    Kobu Sugi

    Original Text

I went there when I drove through the Hanazono Valley. The shrine was founded in the year of Enryaku 14 Otoi (795) of the reign of Emperor Kanmu, and it is said that it was founded by Sakanoue Tamuramaro, the general of the expulsion of foreigners, and the founder of Jikaku Daishi. The green of the big cedar old tree 々 was solemn that the vermilion-painted Niomon, the hall of worship, and the main hall were shining. There was a "kobu cedar" in the cedar. It is an old cedar with a bump that stands straight toward heaven. I also carefully recorded the red stamp. The correspondence was also polite. It is a shrine in a quiet environment. You can calmly worship.

It is a 1200 year-old shrine that is said to have been built by Sakanoue Tamuramaro. Tengu Maki of the Shinki felt the power of the earth with an old tree over 500 years old. The air was clear and comfortable.

    Red Leaf の Famous Office

I visited Hanazono Shrine in Kitaibaraki City, Ibaraki Prefecture. It is a venerable shrine that is said to have been built by Seii Taishogun Sakanoue Tamuramaro in 795. This visit was summer, but the autumn leaves season is exceptional and quite crowded. You cannot go by public transportation, so you can visit by private car or rental car. I think it's a good idea to visit with the surrounding Hanazono Valley.
