Storebltsbroen crosses the Great Belt Channel between the Danish islands of Siam and Funnen. The Great Belt Bridge is the fifth longest main span in the world (1.6 km) and the longest outside Asia. The bridge was the second longest when it opened, and was just overtaken by the Akashi Strait Bridge, which opened a few months ago.
