I personally have a strong image of steam locomotives as vehicles that supported the modern times of Japan. Especially in Hokkaido, it carried many materials and human resources to the inland area and contributed to the development. I would like to say thank you for your hard work now.
It was preserved and exhibited in a corner of Komachi Park. Although there is a rooftop, it seems that the damage will progress in the outdoor exhibition, but it seems that it is in good condition, and the big pain did not stand out from the outside.
JR It is an outdoor exhibition steam locomotive in 「 Komachi Park 」, about 10 minutes walk from Kushiro Station. 「C58106 car 」 was manufactured in Osaka in Showa 14 and then operated on the Nemuro main line & Kushiro main line. In Showa 29 there was a commentary sign that it ran as a train for Emperor Showa in the year.
It is "SL C58106" in "Komachi Park" near Kushiro Station.

It is "SL C58106" in "Komachi Park" near Kushiro Station. According to the signboard, this "C58106" seems to have been running on the Nemuro Main Line and the Semmo Main Line, and it seems that he finally retired from Kushiro to Obihiro in 1972. And as a commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the railway, it seems that it has been preserved and exhibited in this "Komachi Park". Seen from a distance, it looked good in preservation, and it still seemed to run. It feels good.
It is a SL in the park about a 10-minute walk from Kushiro Station. There was a SL in a park with no children. It also has a roof and is quite well preserved.
