Original Text
It is the remains of a modern water supply made by Seiroku Moroto, the first wealthy merchant of Kuwana, by himself. Thanks to this, Kuwana City was the first water supply in 7 nationwide, and it was used from Meiji 37 to Showa 4. It can be said to be a valuable modern industrial heritage, but now only the brick reservoir remains, and you can only tour through the wire mesh. It is located in a scenic hill, but it is difficult to understand the location and you can't reach it unless you go through a narrow road. A little more sightseeing ... including repairs of the remains itself in the future.
It's nice to have a brick-and-mortar atmosphere.
The remains of the Moroto Water Reservoir, which are all bricked with inner walls, are small, but they were spectacular to feel like ancient Rome.
