Stairway to the Basilica

Both views, from down the stairway up and from the upper terrace are really fantastic. However, during summer months I suggest climbing up by car due to heat.

I loved to walk up to the church. On the top, there is a restaurant (probably not the best service around nor the best food, though).

Alongside the Cascate

Quite steep, better to go down than up! Links the Piazza, Santuario and lighthouse at the top with the port at the bottom. Interesting history.

As this natural cascade is no longer water-fooded at the present time, it does not look much like it even if we can admire the work of water-sliding on the rock.
