Bohai Well is located at the foot of Yuanjiaba Mountain in Da'an District, Zigong City. It covers an area of 3 mu and the well is located at an altitude of 341.4 meters. The well was drilled in Qing Dynasty Daguang three years (1823 AD), and it took 13 years to be drilled. [18] Bohai Well was drilled in 1835, is the world's first artificial drilled super-kilometer (1001.42 meter) deep well, and is the only remaining handmade salt workshop in the country.
