Original Text
It is a "glass rock" formed by erosion of lava flow by waves, but there is only one hole. It used to be glasses-shaped, but it seems that one of them broke during the earthquake caused by the eruption in 1957, and now it is said that only one hole is used.
It is named Glasses Rock, but it is a glasses because one rock has collapsed due to a recent typhoon. There are spectacular spots nearby, so it may be just right to look at them by passing by.
I went to August 2018. It is a rock near Furusatoyu. It seems that there used to be holes in the two rocks protruding into the sea, but now one is collapsed and one glasses are in a state. You can see the powerful sea in a rough place.
I was expecting two holes because it was a glasses rock, but one seems to have collapsed and there is only one hole. When the waves are high, you can see the waves hit up close, which is powerful.
One of them collapses and it's no longer glasses, but the lava is rugged and you can enjoy the feeling of Miyake Island. You can also see Mt. Sanbon, which is longing for anglers. It seems to be a diving point for a limited time.
