Deep Hollow Ranch

Amazing experience. I checked their website beforehand to make sure I would not be too heavy for the horses. I am a body builder (as a hobby) and I weigh 235lb at 6'1'' height. Luckily, these horses can support about 250-300lb of weigh on their backs so I was able to go. These are horses, not elephants, so I was honestly not sure how much weight they could handle without being uncomfortable or injured. Overall, this was a great experience and since horses aren't machines, but are animals, it is completely understandable that "large" (double the normal weight for a human female) people cannot and should not want to ride horses. Don't be selfish and get some exercise ffs. Stop blaming others for your lack of self awareness. The world does not owe you understanding for being double the healthy size. Horses don't have legs of steel. Get it together people.

Beautiful place, wonderful experience for myself and all of my family this season! My daughter is almost 40 now and admittedly, has gained quite a few extra pounds god bless her. The normal weight for a 5ft 6 woman is about 130lbs. She is 200lbs but was still able to ride the horses! She said that even though she was able to ride the beautiful creatures, she still realized that she needed to get back in shape for her own health and for society in general. I love my family and I love horses. Deep Hollow Ranch... you've got a friend in me.

They REALLY and I mean REALLY need to loudly advertise that plus-size, (anyone above a size 12) cannot ride there and therefore should not book a visit. I get they have weight limits but if that's not advertised EVERYWHERE they have their name and websites what weights are allowed and not allowed so our fellow Plus-sized community do not have to be humiliated by clearly untrained in hospitality and customer service employees that work here. I'm sure it's a nice place to ride for the skinnies and the stick people.
