Nagasaki Peace Park near the center of the atomic bomb. A famous Peace Memorial Statue stands near the northern end of the large park. Next to the statue was the origami tower, which was about 3m high. There were so many colorful origami cranes falling in the tower. These origami cranes were sent in prayer for the lasting peace of the world.
Next to the Peace Prayer Statue in Peace Park, there is this origami tower. It is a tower about 3 meters high, and a large golden origami crane is placed on the top of the tower. The inside of the tower was hollow, and there were 1,000 cranes and offerings.
