Open-air bath to enjoy Damm Lake in the mountains and shokawa
Original Text
It is a tachiyoriyu near Mt. Gokasa along National Highway 156. Sodium calcium ― Sulfate chloride spring hot water, regardless of the open-air bath overlooking Damm Lake, was comfortable and relaxed in the green.
From the village of Gassho village, the natural hot springs that boil at the foot of Mt. Gokayama, the large communal bath and the open-air bath, it is the best view to see the mountains of the four seasons 々 and the calm lake that reflects nature.
I stopped by here near the World Heritage Site Aikura Village and enjoyed the hot springs. Even though it was Sunday, I went there first thing in the morning, so it was rattling. I was able to enjoy it leisurely. The building is clean and recommended on the way back from the World Heritage Tour.
This Kuroba Onsen has a restaurant where you can enjoy wild plant soba and Gokayama tofu. It's not as crowded as the nearby gassho-zukuri tourist spots.
I visited after visiting an old folk house made of gassho in Gokayama. It is also close to the highway interchange and you can stop by before and after sightseeing. The building itself looks like a large box at first glance, but the space of the hot spring was simple only on the first floor. Although it is not large, the open-air bath overlooks the vast water surface that seems to be the adjacent dam lake, and it is sure to be a superb view when the autumn leaves are. The temperature of the inner hot water was too high, but the open air is an exquisite hot water that can stay for a long time.
