Restaurant, bonito cherry
A restaurant opposite the birthplace of Jutaro Komura. Bonito roasting is recommended. The building that was originally a merchant house of the Kodama family is used.
An old private house near Obi Kaido Road
It was said that I would go west on the Obi Kaido from the former Takahashi Genjiro family about 100 ｍ. It seems that an old folk house more than 100 years ago is used as a gallery. I knew it immediately with the cute panel at the entrance.
The atmosphere of the store is good
It is a good atmosphere shop that seems to blend in with the cityscape of Obi, and is made overall. As it is a gallery, many handmade works are on display, and I was surprised that they were expensive because they were priced. It seemed to take a lot of time and effort, and all the works were very cute. I visited for lunch when I traveled around southern Kyushu on a company training trip. I ordered the bonito roasted weight listed in the guidebook, but it was reasonable with Obiten and Tamagoyaki, which are also Obi specialties.
Rinan Famous Things
This is one of the stores that offers Nichinan's specialty bonito roasting weight. Located within walking distance from Obi Castle, you can enjoy a relaxing meal in a calm Japanese-style room. The taste of pickled bonito is different depending on the shop, and I think this was sweet and spicy soy sauce and sesame. It also comes with Obi specialty sweet omelet, and it was good to have my companion who came to Obi for the first time eat it.
