    Break your trip

Small museum / shop 5 minutes drive from Yunotsu. Offers the chance to paint / glaze pottery from Y2000. Kilns interesting, but if not doing activity, spend 20mins max here.

There is a pottery of Iwami ware. In the old days, many Kitamaebune Dando () were carried to Hokkaido along the Sea of Japan. Traces of Iwami ware Hando are always found on the Echizen coast and the old Kitamaebune ship building.

There is a wonderful and magnificent climbing kiln right next to it, which is worth a look. There are several types of colors on display and sold inside, but all of them were elegant colors. I showed you something that you could do.

It seems to be the largest kiln in Japan. This area prospered as a production area of pottery thanks to good quality soil, clean water and abundant wood. I'm not interested in ceramics at all, but I'm overwhelmed by this 'climbing kiln'. The climbing kiln is the best ...

Cute pottery in the climbing kiln

    Original Text

It is located in the mountains on the way to Onsentsu Onsen. There is a climbing kiln so you can see it immediately. The parking lot is also across the road . Experience corner and a little pottery are also sold. You can buy cute animal figurines, coffee cups, and hot water as souvenirs.
