Grass square with statues and two historic building around
Not possible to miss when you visit Paramaribo. There are two remarkable real live statues. The Presidential Palaces does attracts the most attention when standing on the grass of this square.
Its difficult to see this as an Independence Square. However, this is an area where there are some attractive buildings, which make this a nice area to walk through rather than an iconic square.
The place is only lived at festivities like Divali, otherwise it seems something lost, the presidential palace is far outside the place. To run the place strongly driven streets, so the place weni...
