Porto Empedocle, in the south coast of Sicily, is a town of fishermen, there is a beautiful sea.... But first of all, this is the city of the Great Andrea Camilleri.
Nice to see at Vigata
We unfortunately drove down this pedestrianised street(not knowing) Nice to get out,have a coffee and a look at the statue,the authors interpretation of who Montelbano is.
Not Montalbano!
Sorry, folks, but this guy is not Montalbano. Could be Pirandello, but there's another statue of him nearby.
