Don't bother if you're only a walker

Went to this venue for an advertised woodland walk. Paid £1 and felt robbed!! Found the venue poorly signed and confusing as the main signs are for the birds of prey, but eventually got access to Park...

Zero facilities. Lovely looking house and parkland but nowhere to have a cup of tea, no staff and most areas roped off.

Felt like we were creeping around a private garden rather than having paid an entry fee. No shop, no staff, no cafe unless you paid for the separate attraction to see the birds of prey.

A great place for a stroll.

We always stay in Helmsley for a few days in December and a highlight is our morning walks in Duncombe Park estate. Granted, the Bird of Prey Centre and the House are closed at this time of the year, ...

Disappointment

Very disappointed that gardens not open after end of August. That is really early to shut for season.
