It was the residence of retired emperor Juntoku who was exiled.

    Original Text

It is the site of the retired emperor Juntoku's gyogu, who was defeated in the Jokyu War and was exiled to Sado. It is said that the residents built the gyogu using a rough but wood bark with respect to the retired emperor who died after living in this area for 22 years. Today, there is only a monument showing the ruins of the Gyogu and the site that is said to be the ruins of the Imperial Palace, but there was an atmosphere that gave the illusion that the scene of the past floated in front of me.

    Shunyu Shanghuang の Palace Site

    Original Text

The site of the retired emperor Juntoku's palace, which was exiled to Sado due to the Jokyu Rebellion in 1221. It was a poor palace made of wood with bark, so it is the Kuroki Imperial Palace. On the grounds where pine trees grow thickly. There are monuments such as Mokichi Saito and Hiroshi Yosano, and I think the atmosphere is strong to remember the retired emperor.

Sado's palace. The location is quite confusing. And small. The surrounding area is a residential area. I am deeply moved to think that I had a regrettable time here. There are monuments of various people, probably because it has been thought so since ancient times.

    Shunyu Emperor

    Original Text

It was the site of the temporary palace of Emperor Juntoku, who was on the island. It was said that it was called Kuroki Imperial Palace because it was a palace with only poor logs, but now the pine trees are overgrown and I felt the passage of time.
