A long walk down
Looking forward to visiting the caves here, but the very steep steps down appeared far too risky at my age. OK for real youngsters.

Great place for history and exploring with the kids and having a picnic. Be cautious, the grass is long and there are snakes basking.
Hidden gem
Wow, found this place through TripAdvisor, what an interesting place! Even kept my 15 year old from constant complaining. A mix of destroyed and complete WW2 German bunkers and an old Fort from the 18...
Fab beach
Safe, easy to park if you get there early. Lovely restaurant/coffee shop at the fringe of the beach. Fills up after 4pm on hot days. It’s the best beach estuary side of Royan.

De très jolies vues, et un site chargé d'histoire (un fort français et de nombreux bunkers allemands datant de la dernière guerre mondiale)
