Kotake Jo Castle Ruins
Original Text
The area around Eucalyptus Gaoka Station on the Keisei Line is dotted with historic sites and temples and shrines, making it ideal for a walk. I came to the ruins of Kotake Castle, which is about a 20-minute walk from Eucalyptus Gaoka Station. At the intersection where Mizuho Bank is located at the north exit, go to No. 296 on the right, turn left at the traffic light of the upper seat, and you will find an information board for "Kotake Castle Ruins, Kotake Goro's Tomb and the surrounding Satoyama Scenery" in about 5 minutes. If you enter the narrow road, you will find the pillar of the ruins of Kotake Castle. The castle ruins are privately owned and are off limits, but the earthworks are well preserved and Kotake ..., a member of the Chiba clan.
