I followed the trend and went to Shaoxing to share my favorite photo spot
Mr. Muxin said
Jiangnan without bones is not only Suzhou, but Jiangnan with bones must be seen in Shaoxing.
What is Jiangnan?
Jiangnan can be: Wanting to compare West Lake to Xizi, always suitable whether heavily or lightly made up (Hangzhou), or it can be: When you arrive in Gusu, you see every household rests by the river (Suzhou), or it can be: The picturesque water towns of Jiangnan, where houses extend and wind chimes sound pleasing (Wuzhen)...
But I prefer
Yellow wine and black-awning boats, Shaoxing intoxicates Jiangnan
Here there is the unique gentleness of Jiangnan
And a bit of the temperament and spirit of literati.
Next, I will share the photo spots from this trip to Shaoxing
Great shots at every location❗
✅Luzhen
Lu Xun once mentioned Luzhen in 'Kong Yiji', which is the hometown of his grandmother in his writings: as a child, he would row boats at night with local friends to the neighboring village to watch the opera, with the sound of the wind by his ears, the splashing of water at the bow, black-awning boats, black felt hats, and bluestone slabs...
Luzhen is an ancient town rebuilt based on Lu Xun's novels, where the Lu Mansion, Kuiwen Pavilion, and Ah Q's Tugou Shrine mentioned in the stories are all presented.
📍Ying'en Bridge (Picture 1)
✅Keyan
Keyan is mainly famous for its stone scenery, and the most famous here is the Tiangong Great Buddha, carved during the Sui and Tang dynasties, situated among giant solitary rocks and standing above the pool water, it has been there for over 1600 years.
📍Diting Pavilion (Picture 2), Tiangong Great Buddha (Picture 3)
💴Tickets: Keyan 80, painted boat: 15, black-awning boat 35, Luzhen opera performance 128
✅Hometown of the Sage of Calligraphy
The hometown of Wang Xizhi, the Sage of Calligraphy, and Cai Yuanpei, a leading scholar, has already become one of the hot spots in Shaoxing, especially the Ink Pool, where crowds line up to take photos, wearing Quanzhou's hairpin flower attire and Hanfu. I personally suggest taking a walk through the local alleys, which is quite interesting.
📍Roadside coffee shop (Picture 4)
✅Bazi Bridge
Song Jiatai's 'Kuaiji Annals' states: 'Bazi Bridge, located in the southeast of the prefectural city. Two bridges are opposite and slanted, shaped like the character '八' (eight), hence the name.'
The bridge is built at the confluence of three rivers, with one bridge spanning all three. Compared to the Hometown of the Sage of Calligraphy, there are fewer tourists here, making it a very comfortable place to stroll.
📍Dongshuang Bridge and Wangchun Bridge (Pictures 5, 6)
✅Jiemin Library
The same photo spot as actress Liu Shishi, it is really beautiful, especially a screen wall, adorned with rocks and complemented by white walls and black tiles, this is the Eastern aesthetics that China has come to understand.
📍Entrance (Picture 7), inside the library (Picture 8)
✅Xixiao Road Historical District
The filming location of the movie 'The Summer of Xixiao River', this is a very well-preserved old district, with old walls, small rivers, and bluestone roads. There are not many spots for taking great photos, but it is very original, and basically, it is the local people who live here.
📍Houses along the river (Picture 10)
Especially beautiful, I feel the most beautiful place in Shaoxing, the mountains and rivers, the green nature of the ghosts and craftsmanship, I will go back next time, I especially recommend everyone to see there is a free awning boat to sit in.
The overall feeling is very shocking. Although I know that the actor is the mouth type, I still hope that the actor can be more professional, and the expressionless performance always feels that there is something missing. I like the last way to leave the scene, leaving the scene from the middle of the stage, symbolizing the direction to the light.
Luzhen walked along Jianhu Lake, unknowingly walked to Luzhen, catching the sunset, and seeing Luzhen at dusk was also beautiful. Compared with the bustling people, this time is slightly bleak. Many restaurants that eat are closed, and they are not all open. There can only be something to eat. Luzhen is a background era of Lu Xun's characters, and the old street is quite comfortable to eat.
"He has been a civilian for his life, judging right and wrong by the interests of the vast number of people at the bottom, deciding on trade-offs, expressing love and hatred, and becoming a spokesperson for the poor and the unfortunate. Although he has forced the reality with a near cruel eye, he has convinced the reader that, Life is like a long tunnel, sometimes dark to reach out five fingers, but at the end of the tunnel, there must be light.” At the end of the performance, under the gaze of more than forty actors, the audience crossed the tunnel and went to the light.
The flow of people is not particularly large, the scenic spot is large, and it is more expensive.
Keyan is only two large stones, and there is a temple, which costs nearly 100 yuan for tickets. The scenery Jianhu Ancient Fiber Road is more beautiful, only three to five minutes away, and the others are like ordinary parks. The most wronged ticket 🎫! Luzhen also has no characteristics, Luzhen Theater performance is superb, but I think children under 15 should not understand.
Many shops have not opened, but the restaurant is delicious. I ate delicious farm food by the river and I was in a good mood.
