Shaoxing, you're missing out by not promoting this ancient town, it's incredibly underrated, but truly beautiful, with hardly any tourists, making it an excellent spot for photography‼️ Grab your friends and head out for the weekend～ 🔸Lu Town 📍Location: Inside the Keyan Scenic Area at No. 588 Keyan Avenue, with a parking lot🅿️, parking is very convenient. 🎫Ticket: 🆓 ✅Lu Town recreates the Lu Town described in the writings of Lu Xun, with traditional opera performances, black-awning boats, white walls and black tiles, small bridges over flowing water, full of elements of the Jiangnan water towns, with ivy-covered narrow stone bridges that are really photogenic. ✅Stone bridges and black-awning boats are great for taking photos and checking in, really photogenic, and there are also places like the Kuiwen Pavilion and the opera stage, which are also excellent spots for taking pictures. ✅For food, I recommend the Treasure Hunt at the entrance, it's not astonishing, but it's standard and a place where locals would go for Shaoxing cuisine. ✅Next to Lu Town is the Keyan Scenic Area and Jian Lake, which can be arranged for a 1-2 day trip. If you're not in a hurry, staying in a homestay in the ancient town to enjoy the slow life is also very pleasant. This is the real hidden gem of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, but it's absolutely beautiful, a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and to relax and daydream～

Today we celebrated Lantern Festival in advance, just got back from a trip to Shaoxing with my parents and 🐶 Peach. I didn't expect the tour route we chose to be so much fun! The key is that the scenic area is free now, you can visit for free until 3.31! . 🚏Route: Keyan→Luzhen→Jianhu Li . ⭐Luzhen: A physical ancient town built based on Lu Xun's novels, a typical Jiangnan water town, where you can sit on a boat and watch social operas, a completely different experience. Today on Lantern Festival, we also saw many exciting activities here ✅Jianhu Yixi: A characteristic double-sided stage, with Yue opera and local plays to watch, and there are water song and dance performances and light shows at night ✅Longyou Jianhu: The long bench dragon parades in Jianhu Li, with water and land parade routes, very lively ✅Yuanxiao Tea Banquet: A long street tea banquet is set up, with sweet dumplings, tea, pastries, etc., very festive for Lantern Festival ✅Guessing lantern riddles and other traditional intangible cultural heritage activities ⭐Keyan: There are a lot of stone wall landscapes, especially a huge Buddha statue in the lake stone scenery, which is very spectacular. Further inside, there is a super long ancient towpath, where you can take a boat tour or walk around ⭐Jianhu Li: Next to Jianhu, a few minutes' drive away, there is an island in the center of the lake with a pioneering bookstore built on it, very special.
