#1 of Best Things to Do in Nanjing
Anonymous User
After watching the TV series Wild Ducks many years ago, I learned that there is such a house in China. I have been longing for a long time and finally have the opportunity to go to Nanjing Tulou to take a look. It feels okay. Commercialization is not so serious. It feels better than Yunshuiyao. It is still the kind of folk customs. simple feeling, The ticket price of 90 yuan in the scenic spot is not cheap, but it doesn't matter if you go once. The place is relatively remote and it is recommended to charter a car or rent a car.

The price is very high, the earth building is kept relatively primitive, and there are not many traces of development. You can chat with the villagers, which is very good. The old building is five or six hundred years old. The new one is built in the 1950s and 1960s. The summer is very cool. Children can play in the water.

Taxia Village is known as "Zhouzhuang in southern Anhui". This village has a long history. It was built in 1426. The earth building was built along the river and distributed very evenly on both sides of the river. The village is not overdeveloped, so the entertainment is not high for me. It is a good place to feel the tranquility of the countryside. It's nice to have tea and walk by the river

The earth building group of Hekeng Village is the most representative of Fujian earth building. It is large in scale. There are more than ten buildings of various shapes. It is built by mountains and rivers. Only the observation deck (with villagers to pay for the guard) on the high side of the village can you see the style of "Beidou Seven Stars".

Hegui Building, also known as the foot building, is located in the village of Meilin Town, Nanjing County, 53 kilometers away from the city of Nanjing. Built in the Qing Dynasty, it was built by Jianciping Gong, with a total investment of 155,000 silver, and it covers an area of 1547 square meters. It is the tallest earth building in Nanjing. This earth building is built on a marshland, with more than 200 pine trees piled and paved, after more than 200 years, it is still solid and stable, and well preserved. And Guilou "three strange" and Guilou five floors high, 21.5 meters, don't underestimate this number, this is the "most in the world", that is to say, and Guilou is the tallest of all Fujian Tulou known, this is a strange. And Guilou has 28 rooms on each floor, a total of 140 rooms. The building opens a gate in the middle, and there are stairs up and down in each of the north and west. It was built in Qinghuizheng ten years (1732), it is said that the original site to build the building, did not find this is a marshland, the building built a layer, suddenly the whole floor like a wreck, slowly sinking to the rotten ground, the building of the Jane family of the family helpless, had to hit the wall of the sinking building more than 100 cubic meters. The piles, they felt that the foundation was strong, and they began to plough the wall from scratch and build a five-story square building. They seemed very sure, never worried that the building would tilt or sink, and it was true that for more than 200 years, and the building was solid and golden, and the wind and rain were not moving. You can insert iron wire into the ground in the small patio of the middle school hall, you can insert more than 5 meters deep in one breath, pull out the iron wire, you can see the trace of silt on the iron wire, if you lame here, the whole patio boulder will shake like a ripple, this is the second wonder. And the third strangeness of the building, that is, two wells in the building, 18 meters apart, the water level of the well is higher than the ground, the well on the left, clear as a mirror, the water quality is sweet, a few red carp in the well swim, like a spirit, and the well on the right is turbid yellow, filthy, completely undrinkable. This is a strange landscape due to the different material structure of the two wells. Since the shallow layer of the marsh is rotting marsh water, the deep layer is drinking groundwater. So both wells were drilled into the groundwater layer at the design time. However, the well is made of cement, and the turbid well is made of small round stones. This leads to less gap in the wall of the turbid well, and the gap in the wall of the turbid well is larger. While two wells pass through the marsh layer, a large amount of marsh water seeps into the turbid water, resulting in its turbidity and toxic, and the clear water wells do not seep into much so can be drunk.
