The Kayisa Cultural Center, also known as the Museum of Contemporary Art in Madrid, is adjacent to the Prado Museum and the Thyssen-Bonemisa National Museum. Designed by Swiss architects Herzog and De Mellon, the museum is a century-old power plant. In order to better protect the building body, the designer added a passage before the building, and visitors can bypass the wall to enter the museum, which can reduce the accumulated loss of the building's exterior wall. The Madrid Museum of Contemporary Art focuses on debate and educational programs, touring exhibitions, etc., and, like its name, pays more attention to the development of contemporary art.
