The white walls were impressive in the quaint church right next to Yotsuya Mitsuke Park. This church was first built by the missionary Canningham in １９０３ year, and the current church was built in １９３８ year. (We have been rebuilt several times.) It was designed by William Melell Vories, who is famous for Japanese church architecture such as Karuizawa Union Church, and has been designated as a civic cultural property in Shinjuku Ward.
