Stunning pond fed with spring water
This is a lovely scenic spot with an amazingly clear pond that is continuously fed by spring water which is why it is not cloudy or muddy. The is a short path around the lake to a small shrine on the ...
I had the luxury of a local resident (a good friend of mine) show me around Niigata. This lake was on our list. According to my friend a dragon lives at the bottom of the lake. The water is suppose...
I stopped by on the way back from my stay in Tsunan Town. It is a location where there is no problem in either going to Nagano or to Tokamachi. When I went by car navigation on my smartphone, I was guided to a place like a nearby reservoir, so I think it's better to use the signboard normally. About 2 minutes walk from the parking lot. The walking path to the pond enters from the side of the parking lot. If you go along the road, there is a signboard and it is divided into two. If you go to the left, you can go to the shrine, and if you go to the right, you can go to the vicinity of the pond. It is a quiet and calm space.
