Meidaizhao Museum

As one of the four major monasteries of Tibetan Buddhism in Inner Mongolia, there is history, culture and heritage, so museums are necessary, and through visiting museums, you can have a very deep feeling about the local history and humanities.

🏯 Meiluzhao Museum is located in the square before Meiluzhao. The museum is divided into four exhibition areas. The most exquisite exhibition area is the mural, where a group of exquisite paintings according to the mural Linyi are displayed. Visitors can feel the charm of the murals in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. 1⃣ Unit 1 shamanism shows the Mongolian people's previous belief in Tibetan Buddhism in general. 2⃣ Unit 2 boards up their homes, showing the process of Ming and Meng relations from war to peace, and the impact of Central Plains agriculture, crafts and commercial civilization on the outside of the country. 3⃣ Unit 3 Buddha descended Jiufeng, showing the interaction impact of Tibetan Buddhism and Mongolian culture, and the situation of Mongolian-Tibetan cultural exchanges. 4⃣ Unit 4 mural treasures, choose the painting of the beautiful murals more than 100 square meters to display, showing the beautiful murals exquisite and rich. The Meihao mural is the earliest, longest-preserved and most richly-contented mural group painted in Mongolia. The content has Mandala patterns, ancient Indian achievements, Tibetan Buddhism Karma Khuju and Gelu figures, Buddha, Bodhisattva, Luohan, Law Guardian, Master and Mongolian nobles to support people. Because of the restrictions of the environment in the temple, it is difficult to see the whole.
