I stopped by on the way from Ueno Village to Osutaka's Ridge. I came on National Highway 299, but there were many tunnels from the middle. Some of the tunnels felt like they were going around, and the lights were a little creepy because there were few oncoming cars with dull orange lights. One of the tunnels, through the Hamahira Tunnel, there was a gate on the right and there was a parking lot.
