I visit this area several times a year and the water level is lower each time I see it. I'm not sure why, but several years ago I know they were upgrading the dam. I can't imagine this is still going on, but who knows.Even after very heavy rainfall for several days, the water doesn't change. It must be purposely draining to another reservoir.The low water levels have made Larison Cove, a normally beautiful hiking and canoe area, seem apocalyptic. It's ugly now, and that is very sad.
