Tremendous fun!
Driving to Alamosa to see sand dunes, Came across this last minute. Glad we did. Uphill drive up to parking is paved, so ok for rental cars, takes maybe 15 minutes to drive. Parking right by trail...
There is a rocky trail up to the falls. It is listed as "easy" but I would not say it's "easy"....because of the rocks and incline. However, if you go slow it can be done. And it is pup friendly!
