Baihe Taoist temple

Baihe Temple is located at the southern foot of Baihegang by the Yuanyang River in the west of Wuzhou City. Founded in the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty (713-714), it is a Taoist place for worshiping gods, chanting scriptures, and cultivating Taoism. It is a well-preserved Taoist temple in Guangxi. According to the general history of Guangxi recorded during the Qianlong period, in Xiantongzhong (860-874), the Hanlin Chengzhi scholar Zheng Tang was relegated to the prefect of Cangwu and added to Guanyu. It was rebuilt during the Kangxi period and the ninth year of Guangxu (1883), in 2001. Rebuild. Now the White Crane View covers an area of 3,000 square meters, and the preservation of the building is basically completed. Baiheguan is composed of archways, gate towers, corridor houses, wing rooms, squares, and main halls. There are "Sanqing Treasure Hall", "White Crane Hall", "Three Realms Hall" and "San Qing Treasure Hall" in the temple, which are dedicated to the three higher gods in Taoism - Sanqing Zunshen; "White Crane Hall" is dedicated to True Monarch White Crane, the "Three Realms Hall" enshrines the Holy Master of the Three Realms. In Baiheguan, there is a large stone tortoise of the Ming Dynasty. It was built in the sixth year of Chenghua in Ming Dynasty (1470). The stone tortoise is 3.3 meters long, 1.8 meters wide, 1.2 meters high, and weighs 11.56 tons. It is one of the larger stone tortoises found in Guangxi. In addition, there is also a collection of the word "shou" written by Chen Tuan, a Taoist priest from Huashan Mountain in the late Tang Dynasty, at the Bingjing Temple in Wuzhou.
