We found SemiXO by chance on the way to our holiday villa and it looked so nice from the outside that we looked up the listing and booked for supper. We loved the look and layout of the restaurant and the experience was even better than expected. The food was fantastic with slightly quirky takes on well known dishes, the drinks list is extensive and the service was faultless. We will definitely return when next in Carvoeiro.

Love coming here, staff are very friendly and super efficient, food is good quality and value.Having a holiday home not so far away we always visit Jo&atilde;o for a wonderful welcome and a great evening of good, honest food.

WOW! The fish was so fresh it melted in our mouth. We both took the tasting menu (one with sashimi and one without). Even if it&rsquo;s unlimited, the first serve was enough for both of us. We went back a couple of dats after our first try as it was so good. We really recommend you to try it!

Fresh local and casual restaurant serving seafood and meat dishes.  Simple preparations with a focus on Portuguese cooking.  Nice people work there, always friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately we had a bad first time experience. We couldn&rsquo;t choose anything A la carte. There was a menu for 60,-!!! Price and quality was totally out of balance! Totally highly overrated!!! Not high end at all! Service was good, and ambience as well. But for the food there are many restaurants in the area which do have beautiful food with a good price/quality balans!

It was a lovely dinner  and I would recommend going with some friends. The food can&rsquo;t be faulted. Everything was delicious! We sat outside and was cold in the evening. Having some blankets and an outdoor heater would have sorted it. It was also very quiet outside especially as it&rsquo;s not located in a busy area. Some music would have lifted the ambience. That was the only drawback. Inside is beautiful so you may not want to be outside anyway. Definitely worth a visit if you&rsquo;re a foodie. Again, the food and service was really good. We may have fallen in love with the dog by the counter as well.

This is the best restaurant in the area. It only deserves 5*.

Absolutely incredible in every aspect. Cannot recommend this place enough, there is nothing negative to say. Perfection!
