Mirabell Palace & Garden

Mirabell Palace and Garden is one of the most beautiful attractions in Salzburg. The palace is elegant and full of charm, with lovely architecture and a rich history that reflects the city’s cultural heritage. I enjoyed walking through the gardens, especially the colorful flower beds, neatly trimmed hedges, and graceful fountains. The famous marble statues and the view toward the fortress made the visit even more memorable. The palace itself was also impressive, with its refined rooms and peaceful atmosphere. Overall, Mirabell Palace and Garden offers a wonderful mix of beauty, history, and relaxation. It is a must-visit for anyone exploring Salzburg, and I would gladly visit again.

Fortress Hohensalzburg

Fortress Hohensalzburg is one of Europe’s largest and best-preserved medieval castles, majestically overlooking Salzburg from Festungsberg hill. Built in the 11th century, it offers stunning panoramic views of the city, the Salzach River, and the surrounding Alps. Inside, visitors can explore fascinating museums, grand state rooms, and historical artifacts that showcase centuries of Austrian heritage. The fortress can be reached by a funicular or a scenic uphill walk. Its medieval architecture, towers, and courtyards create an unforgettable atmosphere. Whether you visit for history, photography, or the breathtaking scenery, Fortress Hohensalzburg is a true highlight of Salzburg and Austria.

Located at Getreidegasse 9, this charming yellow house is where Mozart was born in 1756. Inside, visitors can explore his family’s original rooms, personal letters, portraits, and historical instruments, including his childhood violin. The exhibits vividly bring Mozart’s early years and musical genius to life. The museum is beautifully curated, offering insight into 18th-century Salzburg and Mozart’s extraordinary talent. Altes Rathaus

Salzburg, the second largest city in Austria, is a veritable city of music. It is the hometown of Mozart. We visited Mozart's ancient residence and the Sculpture Square. The children here often hold various music-related activities.

Mozart Residence

Mozart's birthplace, Mozart House, Mozart Cafe in Salzburg... Everything is Mozart. Haha. Just Mozart alone is enough to feed a city for a lifetime! Mozart's handwritten scores, clothes, etc. are on display in the birthplace and house, so you can meet Mozart from far and near.^^

Salzburg Cathedral

At first, I took a lot of pictures of even the nameless cathedral because it was cool, but later on, I didn't feel as inspired as I did the first time, lol. I respect the fact that it's still preserved!

Getreidegasse

Qianliang Hutong is a small alley in the center of Salzburg. Mozart's birthplace is on this alley. In addition, the second floors of the buildings on both sides of the alley are hung with various signs, which should be the more distinctive feature of this alley. The alley is neither wide nor long, and it takes less than a quarter of an hour to walk slowly. There are still mainly various shops on both sides. Of course, the famous Austrian Swarovski also has a branch here, and Salzburg's tax refund point is also near this alley.
