Windermere

Windermere is such a beautiful place to visit, surrounded by peaceful scenery and incredible views. Walking near the lake was especially relaxing, and there are plenty of lovely spots to stop and enjoy the landscape. I’d recommend taking a boat trip if you have time, as it gives you a completely different view of the area. A wonderful destination for a relaxing day in the Lake District. 🌿⛵🏞️

Lake District National Park

Beautiful views, lovely cafe’s and places to stay, the lakes as you drive through to Ambleside really made the journey. Even can just do as a nice day trip!

Edinburgh Castle

The magnificent castle embodies the history, culture, and glory of Scotland. The visitor pathways and signage were well-organized, and there was even an audio guide in Mandarin, which allowed tourists like us who don't speak English to gain a deeper understanding of the castle. The staff at the visitor center were warm and attentive, and the police officers in the square outside the castle were friendly and responsible, helping me find my lost wife.

Brougham Castle

There are two castles on the way from the Lake District to Penrith. Brougham Castle is relatively well preserved and the ticket price is 5.6 pounds. The castle is a structure of outer walls and central towers. There are stairs to climb the tower to overlook the valley and the farm scenery. Penrith Castle is in the park opposite Penrith Railway Station and is free. The castle is relatively small, but it is worth a visit if you are on the way.
