Kkoyori_ly: The room was very clean and spacious. The service was excellent; one evening, when we were dining nearby and it suddenly started raining heavily, a front desk attendant brought us an umbrella. The breakfast was also good, especially the noodles, which were delicious. Parking was convenient at the back of the hotel. For a town of this size, I'd say the facilities are among the best.

March in Chongzuo is truly a fairyland on earth 🌿 Avoiding the crowds, I headed to the off-season Mingshi Tianyuan. The spring feast: the karst peaks are wrapped in morning mist, the Mingshi River glows emerald green, and the air is filled with the scent of grass and flowers, making every breath gentle and soothing~ Fortunately, I chose the right hotel this time! I stayed right inside the Mingshi Tianyuan scenic area—Mingshi Courtyard—saving the hassle of commuting and fully immersing myself in all the springtime beauty. 🌿 About the stay | Bringing the room into the landscape The hotel is tucked beside the Mingshi River, with architecture that exudes pastoral poetry, blending the spirit of mountains, rivers, and plants. Opening the window reveals endless karst peaks. Waking up to birdsong and mountain mist, and watching the sunset gild the peaks in the evening 🌇 The location is truly unbeatable! Right next to the hotel is the bamboo raft dock, so no need to squeeze through the scenic area entrance or rush for transportation. You can set off whenever you want, which I really love for its convenience. The butler service is also very thoughtful, reminding guests of various travel tips before check-in and providing shuttle service to and from scenic spots. The room style is full of Zhuang ethnic charm, with thoughtful details like mosquito repellent, eye masks, and sleep earplugs. Stepping out from the room’s small courtyard leads directly to the pool, surrounded by tropical plants, instantly making you feel like you’re in Southeast Asia. Breakfast offers a wide variety and a comfortable environment. Sitting by the restaurant window enjoying the delicious breakfast while watching bamboo rafts glide between the green mountains is truly refreshing. 🚣 About activities | Bamboo raft drifting, entering a Guangxi ink painting Visiting Mingshi Tianyuan means you must try bamboo raft drifting! The dock is within walking distance from the hotel. Choose early morning or evening, take a bamboo raft downstream, slicing through the emerald river surface, with gentle ripples. The karst peaks on both sides reflect in the water like a flowing ink painting 🎨 You can also hear the melodious Zhuang folk songs, the breeze brushing through the phoenix tail bamboo bringing fresh fragrance. Passing by the Nine-Bend Bridge and Zhuang ethnic houses, every snapshot is a natural masterpiece without filters. It really feels like “floating on emerald waves, traveling inside a painting” ✨ The hotel even offers complimentary bamboo raft tickets, making it a great value~ 🚲 About spring | Cycling and roaming, embracing pastoral vitality March in Mingshi is bright and clear, perfect for cycling and wandering! Mingshi Courtyard provides free bicycles, so no extra rental fees—so thoughtful ❤️ Riding a bike through the countryside, you’ll see fresh green rice fields, blooming kapok and bougainvillea flowers, and scattered Zhuang ethnic houses. The breeze carries the freshness of river water and floral scents. When passing the fish-scale dam, you can stop to watch the flowing water and capture the spring light and shadows 🌷 The cycling route is gentle and effortless, allowing you to leisurely ride and take photos, capturing all the tenderness of spring. No need to deliberately find scenic spots or rush schedules. Bamboo rafting, cycling, watching the harmony of mountains and waters, and savoring the slow springtime—this is what travel should be like 🌿

Reverse tourism hit the jackpot! Who understands the joy of having Detian Waterfall all to myself! 😭 Ladies! Take my advice, never come to Chongzuo during peak season! You must learn from me and come in March! While others are stuck in crowds at the scenic spots, I stood on a bamboo raft at the Detian Transnational Waterfall, feeling the mist up close. There was only our boat on the entire river—such a luxurious feeling of having the whole mountain and river to yourself! Spend half the money and enjoy ten times the happiness, truly worth it! 👏 📍Prime Location Chongzuo, a treasure city on the Guangxi border, adjacent to Vietnam. Here lies Detian Transnational Waterfall, Asia’s largest and the world’s fourth largest waterfall, as well as Mingshi Pastoral, known as the "Little Guilin." Water volume increases in March, but tourists haven’t flooded in yet, making the experience divine! 🚗 Transportation Tips 🚄 High-speed train + car rental: You can take the high-speed train to "Chongzuo South Station," then rent a car to drive yourself. This is the most comfortable way to explore Chongzuo since the attractions are quite spread out. 🚙 Self-driving: It takes about 2.5-3 hours driving from Nanning, with picturesque scenery all the way, especially after entering Daxin County—it’s like a gallery. 🌊 Highlight Itinerary DAY 1✨ Stunning Transnational Waterfall Tour 14. 00 Arrive at 【Detian Transnational Waterfall Scenic Area】. There are really few people in March! No need to queue even to buy tickets or take the sightseeing bus. 15. 00 The best activity—ride the bamboo raft! Put on a raincoat (or not), and let the boatman row the raft right under the waterfall. On the left is Vietnam’s Ban Gioc Waterfall, on the right is our Detian Waterfall. The feeling of being baptized by waters from two countries is so shocking! The mist hits your face, super refreshing! 💦 16. 30 Walk up the trail along the mountain to see the waterfall from different heights. At the highest viewing platform, you can see the full view of the waterfall and the Guichun River winding into the distance. 17. 30 Stroll through the Sino-Vietnamese Style Street, buy some Vietnamese specialties like durian cashews, Vietnamese yogurt, and baguette sandwiches, and experience the unique charm of this border town. DAY 2✨ Pastoral Landscape Stroll 09. 00 Wake up naturally and head to 【Mingshi Pastoral】. This is the filming location for the "Changliu Wonderland" in the TV drama "The Journey of Flower." 10. 00 Rent a bike or an electric scooter and leisurely ride along the cycling paths in the scenic area. On both sides are typical karst peaks reflected in the rice fields and rivers, water buffalo grazing, villagers working in the fields—this is a real-life Peach Blossom Land! 🐂 12:00 Have lunch at a farmhouse restaurant in the scenic area. Must-try are the Mingshi Three Treasures (small river shrimp, fried small fish, stuffed tofu), incredibly delicious. 15:00 If you have time, visit 【Dragon Palace Wonderland】 to see the karst caves, or go to 【Nonggang Nature Reserve】 for birdwatching and hiking. 📷 Photo Guide ✅ Detian Waterfall: Take photos of people with the waterfall on the bamboo raft for a powerful shot. Use a telephoto lens from the third-level viewing platform on the mountain for a layered panoramic view of the waterfall. ✅ Mingshi Pastoral: With a solitary peak and a pool of rice fields as the background, walking on the field ridges makes every shot look like a painting. ✅ Popular Fish Scale Dam: On the way to Mingshi Pastoral, you’ll pass a uniquely designed dam with layered fish scale patterns, perfect for portrait shots. ✅ Sunset: Find a small bridge in Mingshi Pastoral to capture the sunset, mountains, and returning cattle—a peaceful and beautiful scene. ⚠️ Pitfall Avoidance Tips ✅ Choose the right time: March is the off-season with fewer people and better experience. But for the most spectacular waterfall water volume, wait for the rainy season from June to October. ✅ Border checks: Since it’s near the border, there may be border patrol checks on the road. Remember to bring your ID. ✅ Shopping tips: You can bargain boldly for Vietnamese specialties sold in the scenic area. For authentic products, go to the big supermarkets in Chongzuo city. ✅ Mosquito protection: Although it’s March, it’s a subtropical area with dense vegetation where mosquitoes start to become active. Bring mosquito repellent.

In the summer drained by work, I discovered this 26°C air-conditioned paradise of escape—Mingshi Tianyuan in Chongzuo, Guangxi! The whole 1-hour bamboo raft drift is super chill 🏞️ Karst peaks reflect in the clear water, and the boatman occasionally sings Zhuang ethnic folk songs. Sitting in the front row for photos is amazing! Every shot looks like a scene from the "A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains" painting. 🚴♀️【Hidden Gem Activity】Cycling Through Rice Fields Rent a bike after 4 PM (only 20-30 RMB!) The reviewer took his children from Changsha and drove for more than two hours to the niche scenic spot in Liuyang - Yulingba in Huali Village. The journey was quite long. After arriving at the scenic spot, he found that the scenic spot did not give people a stunning feeling, and the experience was average. However, the air quality here is great, rich in negative ions, and the water quality is relatively clean. In summer, it is a more suitable place for children to play in the water.
M85***03For families with children, it's definitely worth a visit! Visiting the entire park in one day would be very rushed and tiring, leaving your knees sore. For a better experience, I recommend two days and one night. The park has a wide variety of animals, and the cable car and miniature train are quite unique; children had a great time. The staff are very friendly, patiently answering questions and engaging in friendly interactions. If I had to complain, firstly, the food prices inside the park are relatively high (although the Chinese food was okay); secondly, the smell was too pungent when the miniature train passed the bird area (I wonder how this can be improved); and thirdly, the prices in the interactive areas are also quite expensive (for example, feeding the giraffes costs 36 yuan for a single branch!!!). Overall, I highly recommend it for families with children!
深蓝和江河The incense is very popular. This is the first time I have seen such a large incense coil. I like the smell of incense in the temple! Ringing the bell and beating the drum are free. The staff at the ticket gate will help keep the luggage. It is very suitable to bring parents around. ...
Anonymous userI think 300 yuan per person is great value for money. It includes a free cable car ride for a panoramic view of the entire park, and a free mini-train ride for a close-up look at the animals on the African savanna – you get to see everything from different angles. We also spent 300 yuan to drive through the park and get a more intimate look at the animals – a very immersive experience. It wasn't the weekend, so it wasn't too crowded. The park staff were very responsible in their explanations. We also ordered a three-person set meal inside the park, which was a bit pricey, but reasonable for the park's price.
苏美丽呀Qingxiu Mountain is a rare green lung in Nanning, and as a 5A-level scenic spot, the overall experience exceeded expectations. The entire mountain is lush with trees and diverse vegetation, offering picturesque views at every turn. The Longxiang Pagoda stands majestically on the mountain, offering panoramic views of the Yong River and city skyline. The Guanyin Temple is ancient, solemn, and serene, perfect for a tranquil stroll. The Orchid Garden is elegant, with flowers blooming year-round, and its landscaping is exquisite. The scenic area boasts well-developed trails, clear sightseeing bus routes, and ample rest stops. It offers opportunities for hiking, breathing in fresh air, connecting with nature, appreciating ancient architecture, and admiring flowers and plants, making it ideal for family outings or weekend getaways. Hidden amidst the bustling city, this tranquil mountain forest, untouched by excessive commercialization and offering a relaxed pace, is a must-visit destination in Nanning.
肝灵老师When visiting Guilin, a must-see is Elephant Trunk Hill, the city's iconic landmark. It truly lives up to its reputation as the face of Guilin's landscape; only by seeing it in person can one truly appreciate the wonders of nature. The entire mountain sits on the banks of the Li River, resembling a giant elephant bowing to drink from the water. The Water Moon Cave cuts through the mountain, its reflection shimmering in the water, creating the famous Elephant Trunk Hill and Water Moon spectacle—a flowing ink painting. The scenic area is clean and comfortable, with walking paths built along the Li River, shaded by lush trees, making for a delightful stroll. You can climb the mountain for panoramic views of Guilin, or find classic vantage points along the riverbank to capture stunning, atmospheric photos. Boat trips are also available, offering a different and breathtaking perspective of Elephant Trunk Hill from the river. The scenic area is conveniently located in the city center, with excellent transportation and comprehensive facilities. Every step reveals a new vista, allowing you to truly experience the unparalleled beauty of Guilin's landscape. Don't miss it when traveling to Guilin; it's definitely worth a visit.
M45***48The overall scenery is average, and admission is free for locals. Entering from the north gate reveals the newly built Dragon Mother Temple. It's recommended to enter from the southwest gate to see the old temple, which is more popular with worshippers. The path to the Dragon Mother statue is entirely up to steps, which might be a bit strenuous for those with mobility issues; if you walk quickly, you can complete the tour in about an hour.
Anonymous user💖Love it!! A truly idyllic retreat, a perfect day trip from Beijing! In the tea mountains of Liubao tea in Wuzhou, I found my ideal relaxing day and witnessed a miracle... 🤞Standing on the suspended mountain walkway, I was gently enveloped by an endless expanse of green. A deep breath filled me with millions of negative ions, the air thick with the refreshing aroma of tea. Stepping into the tea 🍵 intangible cultural heritage workshop, I felt the warmth of the iron wok, watching the fresh leaves curl in my palm, releasing an aroma that no perfume could replicate—a truly healing scent. 💋But what surprised me most was the adventure for my taste buds. I must recommend these two dishes—the "Black Stone Mountain Sesame Mousse Cake" made with Liubao tea. Its exterior is a deep, dark color, but the taste is unexpectedly smooth and light, with a rich tea aroma that melts on the tongue, subtly sweet and not cloying. 😘And that special "Black Stone Liubao Waterfall Iced Coffee"—the mellow aroma of Liubao tea collides with the fragrance of coffee, a refreshing sip that instantly awakens all the senses, the perfect reward after a hike. 💞This place feels like a parallel world steeped in the aroma of tea. I look forward to a future where I can quietly admire the mountains, focus on learning tea ceremony and wellness, or simply find joy in a custom-made cake and a cup of special Liubao tea. 📍 Location: Wuzhou · Black Stone Liubao Tea Garden 📸 Recommendations: Cloud Mountain Plank Road View, Intangible Cultural Heritage Tea Frying Experience, Specialty Cakes, Black Stone Liubao Iced Coffee, Tea-themed Accommodation Transportation: A few dozen kilometers by car after flying or taking the high-speed rail. 🚗 Driving to the accommodation is recommended for an immersive experience and to savor the moment. 趣博文旅My tip for Canton Tower is to head straight up to the Bubble Tram as soon as you get inside. We waited about an hour to get on, so I’d get that queue out of the way first. Then you can take your time exploring the levels below without thinking about how long the line might be. The level just below the tram is beautiful too, so definitely stop there on your way down.My wife and I really enjoyed the ride. From that high up, you can see Guangzhou in every direction. The bubble moves slowly enough that you have time to take photos of one side of the city, put your phone down and enjoy the view, then see a different part of the skyline as you come around. Even though we shared the bubble with other people, it still felt romantic seeing the city like that together. I’d recommend it for couples, but it would be a fun thing to do with friends or family too. For us, the view was worth the wait!
ItzAlexThe standard currency in Cangwu is CNY
Current exchange rate approx.: BRL ≈1.2CNY (actual exchange rates depend on the bank). Currency exchange tips:
1. Exchange currency at your local bank before departure, as rates are usually better than at the destination.
2. You can also withdraw cash from local ATMs.
3. Avoid exchanging currency at airports or hotels, as they offer the worst rates.
