Tiny Denmark Town: An Unexpected Road Trip Gem South of Perth — traveler post in Denmark

Tiny Denmark Town: An Unexpected Road Trip Gem South of Perth

#worthitornot Our Perth southbound self-drive brought us a lovely surprise at quiet Denmark town. We first dropped by the iconic Denmark Bakery, indulging in buttery, freshly baked pastries with rich local fillings. Next, we savoured creamy dairy ice cream made from nearby farm produce—smooth, pure and utterly flavourful. We then wandered sprawling lush green parks lined with tall trees and calm lawns, a refreshing break from long hours behind the wheel. Unlike crowded tourist hotspots, this laid-back coastal hamlet has genuine small-town warmth. Simple, delicious food paired with peaceful natural scenery makes this underrated stop an unmissable highlight on any southern WA road trip.

Granite Giants WA🌊 — traveler post in Denmark

Granite Giants WA🌊

#australiatrip #해외여행 Elephant Rocks is a unique natural site in William Bay National Park, near the town of Denmark. The enormous, rounded granite boulders, formed millions of years ago, truly resemble a herd of elephants entering the ocean—hence the name. The site is located between two picturesque beaches—Greens Pool and Madfish Bay. The water here is often calm and clear thanks to the natural protection of the rocks, making it an excellent location for swimming and snorkeling. A short trail leads to Elephant Rocks, and the descent to the beach passes right between the stone "elephants"—very dramatic and photogenic. The best time to visit is morning or sunset, when the light highlights the texture of the rock and the color of the ocean. 📍 Location: William Bay National Park, WA ⏱ Best time: early morning or sunset

Windrose b&b — traveler post in Denmark

Windrose b&b

#australiatrip Just checked into our new spot at Windrose B&B, and OMG, this place is waaay better than we expected! The pics online didn’t do it justice at all 😅—in real life, it’s actually super cozy and totally charming. The house is nestled at 6 Harington Break, Ocean Beach, Western Australia. It’s surrounded by lush trees (even on cloudy, rainy days, it still feels magical), and there’s a pond right on the property with frogs singing you to sleep at night—kind of dreamy, not gonna lie. Now let’s talk BREAKFAST! Seriously, this was hands down the best breakfast we had the whole time traveling in Australia. Homemade bread, fresh apple juice, and delish cooked options like bacon, eggs, and German sausage—all served up with mega generous portions. You can taste the love in every bite! The breakfast spot is such a vibe for starting your adventure days. The owner, Anna, is next level sweet (she’s German and even speaks a little Russian!). She always had cute recommendations for local places, from nature walks to beach spots—and yup, you can trust her foodie tips. The living room is loaded with cool books and animal encyclopedias, so if you’re a chill-in-reader, you’ll love it here. Rooms are sparkling clean, the beds are sooo comfy, and the bathrooms are spotless. Bonus points for eco-friendly touches like solar power and rainwater systems—stay green while you snooze! There are laid-back seating areas to hang out and soak in the chill Ocean Beach vibes. If you want a homey B&B with real heart, epic breakfast, and nature all around, Windrose B&B is an absolute must-stay! Search it up on Trip.com for your next aussie escape—you won’t regret it.

Western Australia-Greens Pool and Elephant Rock — traveler post in Denmark

Western Australia-Greens Pool and Elephant Rock

Stunned in awe by the fiery waves of the Greens Pool. The mighty waves roared like raging beasts, pounding onto the rocks and forming enormous white flames that vanished back into the sea. The waves far away formed a misty sight and the entire view of the ocean in my eyes looked heavenly. Nothing beats being at the site to watch the nature orchestras. Camera can only capture half of the real sight. The Greens Pool water is green while other parts of the ocean are blue. It’s definitely a must go sight seeing spot. The Elephant Rock is just a stone’s throw away from Greens Pool but it’s a lookout so only can view from far. Quite interesting to see huge rocks that look like enormous elephants in the sea.
