#underratedspots 🌲 Real talk — I almost skipped Taiziling entirely. It wasn't on my itinerary. Nobody on any travel forum had hyped it up. My guesthouse owner in Fengxian just shrugged and said, "Go walk. You'll see." That vague, confident energy? That's how you know you've found something good. So I went. And wow. Taiziling sits tucked into the mountains of Fengxian, Shaanxi — this quiet little county most travelers speed through on their way to somewhere "more famous." But the moment I hit the trail, everything changed. Towering ancient trees formed a green cathedral overhead. The air was cool, wet, almost sweet — like walking inside a nature documentary. No ticket booths. No velvet ropes. Just dirt paths, stone steps carved into the hillside, and silence so thick you could hear your own heartbeat. About forty minutes in, I reached a ridge where the valley just... opened up. Miles of green rolling hills, mist drifting between peaks, a tiny river glinting way down below. I sat on a rock and literally said "what" out loud. Alone. Like an idiot. But seriously — this view rivaled anything I'd paid sixty yuan to see at crowded tourist spots. The best part? I shared the entire trail with maybe five other people all day. One was an old farmer carrying a bamboo basket who nodded at me and kept walking. We understood each other perfectly. That's the magic of underrated spots. You don't just see a place — you actually experience it. No selfie sticks blocking your view. No rushing. Just you, the mountain, and whatever the mountain decides to show you. Now I'm curious — what's a place you almost skipped that turned out to be your trip's highlight? Drop it below, I'm compiling a secret list! 👇 #UnderratedSpots #Taiziling #Fengxian #Shaanxi #ChinaTravel #HiddenGems #NatureLovers #OffTheBeatenPath #TravelChina #SlowTravel

It is rare to have such a tourist attraction in the county to promote Han culture. Overall it is quite good. The hygiene of the restrooms needs to be improved. I hope it will get better and better.
M48***42The Han Royal Ancestor Mausoleum Scenic Area is a mausoleum exhibition hall expanded around the tomb of Liu Qing, the great-grandfather of Emperor Gaozu of Han and the great ancestor of the Liu family. It contains many historical sites such as tomb mounds, tombstone temples, palaces, and statues of the Twenty-Four Emperors. It is the best attraction for promoting the culture of the Han Dynasty.
吴立珍My second trip to Mount Tai, fulfilling my promise to the Eastern Peak once more. The first time, I was solely focused on reaching the summit, but this time I could leisurely appreciate the cliff carvings and ancient pines along the way, experiencing the rich cultural heritage of the ancient Fengshan ceremony. The Eighteen Bends remained precipitous, but climbing to the South Heaven Gate and Jade Emperor Peak, overlooking the continuous mountain range, I felt the grandeur of "Ascending to the summit, one can survey all the mountains below." The scenic area has excellent facilities; although the climb was tiring, the expansive view from the summit more than made up for the fatigue. It truly lives up to its reputation as the foremost of the Five Sacred Mountains, and I will definitely come back.
会飞の陀螺It's convenient to visit Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, and easy to come back and rest after a long day of sightseeing. The guesthouse has a great environment and good service, and the breakfast is handmade, nutritious, and delicious. I had a great time and a comfortable stay for three days, and I would definitely recommend it to my friends!
Anonymous userIt's very worthwhile, but it's also very crowded, which might slightly detract from the overall experience. However, the people are incredibly welcoming, and there are many beautiful spots for taking photos. The food is also affordable and inexpensive, which kids enjoy. I'll definitely go back when it's less crowded.
M55***20This is my second visit to Wansui Mountain. Every time I visit Kaifeng, this is the only place I can explore because it's so much fun! Many of the popular NPCs can keep me there all day; there's just no room to move. The scenery is vast. There are people interacting with everything. You can play games from morning till night. Everyone, from NPCs to security guards, cleaners, and shopkeepers, is incredibly welcoming, making you feel happy. There are so many activities! Prices are cheap, and there are plenty of restrooms, so you don't have to worry about finding one. The cleaning is excellent; you won't feel uncomfortable at all. Every staff member is exceptionally nice; no wonder it's ranked number one in the country. It's all thanks to the hard work of every staff member. Kudos to the operations team and all the cultural and tourism professionals!
张冰0209Visiting a real tomb-turned-tomb site for the first time, I was truly awestruck by the wisdom of the Han Dynasty people. The anti-theft notice written by Liu Zhu, "There's no silver buried here," was also quite interesting and a novel experience. Outside, there's a beautiful garden, many interesting stone carvings, and plaques treasured in the Imperial Edict Museum—it was quite impressive.
走哪儿都是奶酪Immerse yourself in the history of ancient imperial tombs and learn about ancient engineering technology.
230***29Finally, I saw Baotu Spring, which I'd read about in textbooks! The garden isn't large, but the ancient pavilions and weeping willows beside the clear spring are very pleasant. Seeing the three springs bubbling upwards with my own eyes was much more vivid than in the photos; the water was crystal clear, and koi carp swam leisurely. There's also a memorial hall for Li Qingzhao inside, and the atmosphere was quite nice as I strolled around. The main spring area was a bit crowded, so finding a quiet spot for photos was a challenge. An hour or so is enough to leisurely explore; it's definitely worth a visit when in Jinan.
Anonymous userThe hotel is very close to Baotu Spring Scenic Area, just 200 meters from the south gate, which is very convenient. Guests can also enjoy Baotu Spring water while staying at the hotel. It's also not too far to get to Daming Lake Scenic Area. The hotel service is excellent, very 👍.
E32***45The standard currency in Feng County is CNY
Current exchange rate approx.: HKD ≈0.8CNY (actual exchange rates depend on the bank). Currency exchange tips:
1. Exchange currency at your local bank before departure, as rates are usually better than at the destination.
2. You can also withdraw cash from local ATMs.
3. Avoid exchanging currency at airports or hotels, as they offer the worst rates.
