Want to eat like a local? Don't miss out on these top Fengxin dishes and foodie spots.

I visited Fengxin this time and stayed at the Changlv Qinlu Jiuxian Hot Spring Hotel. I was truly amazed! Located at 69 Yuequan Road, Zaoxi Township, about a 70-min drive from Nanchang. Surrounded by mountains and shrouded in mist all year round, opening the balcony door reveals 300,000 mu of rolling bamboo forests—breathtakingly beautiful. Over 60 hot spring pools are scattered throughout the forest. Soaking at night while looking up at the starry sky is so healing. There's also an indoor pool, making it stress-free for families with kids! The rooms are spacious with viewing balconies. Connecting rooms are available for families traveling together, and there are various themed family rooms to choose from. The "Junlin" Chinese Restaurant serves authentic Jiangxi cuisine. The braised pork and bamboo shoots are must-orders! Key point: Pets are allowed! Furry friends stay for free—how wonderful. The butler service is very thoughtful, with a 24-hour front desk, free parking, and EV charging stations available. Travel tips: About 70 mins by car from Nanchang | About 80 mins from Changbei Airport | The hotel provides airport/train station pickup services. The surrounding area is great for hiking and bamboo forest walks, and you can visit the Jing'an Ski Resort in winter. Two days was too short—too short to soak in every single hot spring pool. But I know I'll be back. If you're also looking for a place to turn off your phone notifications, slow down your pace, and let the mountain breeze and hot springs hit the pause button for you—come to Jiuxian in Fengxin. There's no hustle and bustle of the city here, only 300,000 mu of mountain scenery, over 60 hot spring pools, and a puppy rolling around at your feet. 🏨 Changlv Qinlu Jiuxian Hot Spring Hotel, Fengxin, Yichun [RoundNails] 69 Yuequan Road, Zaoxi Township, Fengxin

Yichun Yangshan📍Cuntou Fang X Zhenghao Cottage High-altitude cloud mountain residence, lie down to watch the sea of clouds and vast bamboo forest, a super healing spot for Qingming outings! The renovated public area is grand and elegant with a wide view, watching the mist spread over the mountains and the waves of bamboo rolling. Guest rooms have panoramic lighting, with mountain views right outside the window, quiet and comfortable. The homestay also offers mountain crafts experiences like flower picking and printing, immersive slow living, perfect for families, couples, or just relaxing. A hidden getaway homestay near Nanchang, come to Yangshan to see the sea of clouds and stay in a cloudside beautiful lodging~

Nestled in the clouds at an altitude of 673 meters, this guesthouse is nestled against the mountainside, surrounded by bamboo groves. Opening the window reveals layers of verdant mountains and a vast bamboo forest; even the air is filled with the fragrance of nature. We chose the "Cloud Wanderer" room with its extra-large viewing window. The room also features a window seat, perfect for watching the sunrise and morning mist, the vibrant autumn colors, and falling asleep to the sounds of insects at night… Unexpectedly, there's a sound library downstairs! It's incredibly therapeutic! The "Nature's Sounds" experience exhibition allows you to quietly listen to the wind, rain, and frogs croaking in the mountains… Instantly filtering out the hustle and bustle of the city, you can immerse yourself in the purity and warmth of the mountains. You can even bring your favorite sounds home! The room has a bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak before bed. The farm-style breakfast the next day was delicious! Steamed eggs, mixed grains, and seasonal vegetables are all freshly made. Enjoy breakfast with stunning views of the terraced fields and mountains! The infinity pool at the mountaintop is absolutely breathtaking! The blue is like the sky itself has been shattered into its surface. The wooden tables next to it are decorated with rapeseed flowers; every snapshot is a masterpiece of healing beauty. In the afternoon, you can visit the rice paddy café. The coffee beans smell amazing, and you can admire the rapeseed flowers, take photos, and simply relax. 💡 Travel Tips · It's about a 40-minute drive from the county town, so driving is highly recommended. The roads are winding and the scenery is breathtaking. · The guesthouse manager is very attentive; they provide check-in instructions in advance and can help arrange nearby rafting, hiking, and meals… · There's a significant temperature difference between day and night, so remember to bring a light jacket. Light-colored clothing will look better in photos. Here, you don't need to rush, you don't need to think about work. Just slowly enjoy the mountains, listen to the wind, and relax, replenishing the energy depleted by city life. Find a place to escape and catch your breath. Cun Tou Fang truly gave us a wonderful surprise! ✨

Who would have thought! Found a magical little courtyard in the village where you can just lie down and daydream, healing all your fatigue~ A private space enclosed by bamboo fences, with bougainvillea climbing all over the walls 🌸 Stone paths lined with succulent pots, the round and plump "Peach Egg" and "Bear Cub" are so cute they’ll melt your heart. Squat down to take photos and instantly turn your shots into fairy tale storybook scenes 📸 The rooms feature transparent floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the entire field like a painting. Pull back the curtains in the morning to a sea of green—breathing feels fresher already~ The biggest surprise is the homely vibe of the guesthouse! Breakfast includes freshly cooked millet porridge and farm eggs 🥚 plus side dishes made from vegetables grown in the owner’s backyard, bringing back the taste of childhood. In the evening, you can barbecue and brew tea in the courtyard, and the owner will offer homemade fruit wine. The evening breeze is filled with the scent of plants and laughter, creating an unbeatable atmosphere~ Just a 5-minute walk to a stream nearby where you can splash in the water and touch little fish; the old street at the village entrance hides handmade candies and firewood cakes—perfect for a leisurely stroll and snack. Whether it’s a family trip, a girls’ photo shoot, or solo relaxation, it’s all super suitable! Already on my list for multiple visits—next time I’m bringing my parents to experience this slow-paced life 🌿

The Anyi Ancient Village Cluster has several distinctive features: 1. It comprises three villages, including Luotian Village and Shuainan Village, each with its own unique characteristics. 2. It's relatively close to Nanchang, only a few dozen kilometers away. Transportation and parking are convenient. 3. This isn't a newly built cluster of ancient villages; they have a long history, and local people still live there, creating a warm and lived-in atmosphere without any artificial feel. 4. I visited during the National Day holiday, and there weren't many tourists, making for a pleasant experience.
Anonymous userWell, it took us 50 kilometers to get to the hot spring. There is a 5-kilometer-long high slope here. It was very tiring, but it was still worth it...
M34***26It's wonderful that the content from the textbook has been brought to life. The image of "the setting sun and a lone wild goose flying together, the autumn water merging with the vast sky" evokes a feeling that, though separated by a thousand years, perhaps shares a common sentiment.
_We***85A paradise of screams and laughter! The parade was absolutely magical. The fragrance museum was a wonderful blend of history and scent, and the staff were incredibly welcoming; every corner was full of surprises. You could play from morning till night without getting bored; the level of happiness was off the charts, and I'll definitely come back!
M29***59Teacher Xiaoyu's explanation was excellent. She really wanted to tell us about the treasures of the Jiangxi Provincial Museum in a short time. You could feel her passion for her work. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to hear her explanation.
Anonymous userWe arrived early, so there wasn't much of a queue. Most importantly, there weren't many people, so each person could ride a car. My son and I were lucky enough to share one, and we could enjoy the view from above. It was nice to sit by the river afterward.

M28***p1The Nanchang Uprising Memorial Hall was established in 1956 and officially opened in 1959. The museum is located in the former site of the Nanchang Uprising Headquarters and manages 5 revolutionary sites. The basic exhibition in the museum displays 509 pictures and charts of various types and 407 cultural relics. It vividly reproduces the glorious history of the Nanchang Uprising and shows the process of the people's army from small to large and from weak to strong. It is a national first-class museum and a national patriotism education demonstration base, attracting a large number of tourists to visit and learn every year.
黑豹AThe kids loved it; the rides were plentiful and exciting. The Roaring Rapids were thrilling, but you need to wear a raincoat. The Pirates of the Caribbean ride was a must-do, no matter how long the queue was. Zootopia was a given, and the Seven Dwarfs ride was a must-do. Soaring Over the Horizon was a great experience, and there were other good rides as well.
Anonymous userOrange Island is a bit of a mixed experience, and I'm honestly not entirely sure whether I'd consider it a must-visit in Changsha. It's a large, green, and pleasant park, with beautiful riverside views and plenty of space for walking. If you enjoy places with historical significance or simply want to experience a different side of the city, it's definitely worth considering. Most visitors seem to take the sightseeing train to the southern end of the island, where the famous Mao Zedong statue is located. That's also where you'll find plenty of people taking photos, so don't expect a particularly quiet experience. The main downside is that visiting the island takes quite a bit of time, especially if you want to explore it properly. And while it's certainly a nice place, I'm not sure the experience justifies spending several hours here if you have a limited amount of time in Changsha and other places you'd like to see.On the other hand, if you're simply looking for a relaxing walk through a green park, with opportunities to stop by the river and enjoy the scenery, it's a lovely option.Overall, I'd say it's worth visiting if you have some extra time or are particularly interested in Chinese history. Otherwise, I wouldn't necessarily put it at the very top of your Changsha itinerary.
