The Old City of Jerusalem is one of the most sacred places of the three inspired religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam). The thousand-year-old ancient city is full of historical atmosphere. Whether you walk through the stone paths or walk through the ancient city walls, you will definitely feel the integration of world civilizations. Whether you are on a religious pilgrimage, passionate about exploring history and culture, or simply want to experience the unique atmosphere of the Middle East, the Old City of Jerusalem is worth a trip. Recommended tour route: Entering the city from Jaffa Gate, first visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the place where Jesus was crucified and resurrected in the minds of Christians. Then walk west to the Western Wall to feel the most sacred place of prayer in Judaism. Keep an eye out next to the traditional Jewish man in black dress and hat. Walking further east, through the Muslim area, you will come to the Dome of the Rock, a holy place for Islamic believers. Must check-in spots: · The interior of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is solemn and mysterious, a must-see ancient vault and oil lamp decoration. · The crowd of prayers in front of the Western Wall, feeling communion and piety. · The golden roof of the Dome of the Mosque, the distant view of the city tower is particularly suitable for panoramic photos. · The Stations of the Cross (Via Dolorosa) various "stations" to walk the last path of Jesus firsthand. Tips: 1. The Old Town has four major districts (Christian, Jewish, Muslim, and Armenian), and it is recommended to reserve half a day to a day for a careful tour. 2. Remember to dress conservatively, avoid shorts or sleeveless tops, respect the rules of religious sites, especially when entering the Dome of the Mosque. 3. The narrow roads in the city are crowded, plus the stone slab Louis slippery, wearing a pair of hiking shoes or sneakers is most suitable. 4. The atmosphere in the old town is very different.
