Ssheldonstone: It is a very cost-effective hotel. It is very new and comfortable to stay in. The facilities are well-equipped and the room supplies are very good. The sheets and quilt covers are comfortable, and the waiters are meticulous in their hygiene. The breakfast has many kinds and is delicious. But I would like to remind friends who come to stay to try to go as early as possible to eat more abundantly. It is still very good relatively speaking. During the stay, the front desk service was warm and provided welcome fruit to the room. The service was good. Convenient parking and many locations.

GGuest User: We originally booked a standard room, but a friend suddenly asked to play mahjong, so the lady at the front desk helped change it to a mahjong room. She was very enthusiastic during the service and even gave two extra breakfast coupons to the mahjong room, which must be given to our lady. Give it a thumbs up, the breakfast at this hotel is also very rich and varied. The parking lot is on the second floor below. It is not easy for me to drive to the negative 2nd floor with this technology. The overall style is very simple and refreshing. The room was also super clean. Seeing that there were so many of us, they gave us mineral water. The service was really excellent. My friend said that this hotel is very cost-effective. I will definitely choose this hotel for future gatherings of friends.

He helped us carry our luggage and sent us to the room after check-in. Soon after, I thoughtfully prepared two servings of ginger tea, which really warmed my heart. Really like the service! Want to eat like a local? Don't miss out on these top Loudi dishes and foodie spots.
This 2-day route keeps the pace relaxed while linking Loudi’s city culture, old commercial streets, a late-Qing countryside estate, cool karst caverns, and the sweeping rice terraces of Ziquejie. It works best with a private car or hired driver, because the sights sit across different parts of the Loudi region, but each stop leaves enough time to wander without rushing.

Based on the latest travel information for Xinhua, Loudi, I have created a 3-day itinerary with a budget of 1,500 CNY. This plan covers all specified attractions while balancing comfort and local experiences. Budget breakdown for a 3-day independent trip to Xinhua The total budget is 1,500 CNY, broken down as follows: 420 CNY for 3 nights of accommodation (budget homestays/hotels; if you plan to focus on suburban attractions like Ziquejie Terrace or Daxiong Mountain, staying in Xinhua County center is recommended for easier transport and dining, approx. 140 CNY/night per person), 360 CNY for 3 days of dining (avg. 120 CNY/day to sample local specialties and old street snacks), 180 CNY for transportation (avg. 60 CNY/day for local buses, ride-hailing, and attraction shuttles; carpooling is recommended as attractions are spread out), 230 CNY for attraction tickets and activities, 260 CNY for souvenirs, and a 50 CNY flexible reserve. There are no forced purchases throughout the trip, which focuses on a relaxing mix of mountain wonders and Meishan culture. Day 1: Cultural and historical leisure route | Experience the essence of Meishan culture Route: Xiangdong Street Historical District > Luo Shengjiao Memorial Hall > Meishan Culture Park > Youxi River Rafting 9:30 AM: After arriving in Xinhua, drop off your luggage at your accommodation and head straight to [Xiangdong Street Historical District]. As a karst cave wonder formed over hundreds of millions of years, it features a 2,800-meter tour route connecting nine levels of caves. An underground river runs through it, keeping it cool even in the hottest summer days. Admission is 70 CNY. A 1.5-hour visit is perfect; you can take a boat ride through the underground river to experience the fantasy of the subterranean world. 12:30 PM: Eat at a nearby farmhouse restaurant. Daily expenses: 77 CNY for dining, 60 CNY for transport, 68 CNY for tickets, 200 CNY for souvenirs. Total: 405 CNY. Tips for a smooth trip Xinhua's attractions are mostly scattered in the suburbs, so don't cram too many major sites into one day; a slower pace is more comfortable. Wear comfortable sneakers for the terraces and forests, and bring a light jacket, as mountain temperatures are 3–5℃ lower than in the city. Local dishes are generally spicy; if you don't eat spicy food, remember to tell the restaurant staff in advance.

I'd heard so much about the Ziquejie Terraced Fields in Xinhua, and after visiting three viewing platforms, I can confirm the scenery was quite beautiful! The area was very cool; as long as you weren't in direct sunlight, it was very comfortable. The guesthouses were also very rustic, serving authentic local cuisine with excellent ingredients, though the cooking techniques could use some improvement. I highly recommend the locally grown mini kiwis—about the size of a thumb, hairless, and incredibly sweet! Villagers sell them by the roadside for 20 yuan a box, which is fantastic! Unfortunately, everyone loved them so much that we didn't have time to take pictures before they were all gone.
霖霖爸LLBThe scenic spot is relatively remote, about 20 minutes drive from the highway. The supporting facilities are average, and the government has not developed and protected it well. But when I entered the house, I felt quite shocked. A long strip of building over 150 meters appeared in front of me, which was completely different from the Jiangnan courtyard or the Beijing courtyard layout. The birthplace Baiyutang is still a 15-minute drive from the main scenic spot, and it feels like it has just been developed. The road to the scenic spot is narrow, and the parking lot is paved with stones.
Anonymous userMeishan Dragon Palace, located on the banks of the Zishui River in Xinhua County, Loudi City, Hunan Province, is a charming tourist destination well worth a visit. Here are some of its highlights: • Amazing Geological Wonders: Meishan Dragon Palace is a large cave complex that combines diverse karst geological landscapes, including caves, canyons, and peaks. It boasts nine levels of caverns and a proven length of over 2,870 meters. The caverns offer a dazzling array of attractions, some of which are considered among the world's top five karst cave landscapes. These include the "Canyon Cloud Sky," where boats sail through an underground river, immersing visitors in a canyon less than 10 meters wide but over 50 meters high, with stalactites dangling from the cave ceiling like a forest. The "Water Golden Mountain" attraction features millions of pristine white goose pipes and stalactites reflected in the water, creating a dazzling, dazzling golden mountain. • Unique and diverse tour options: The cave offers both land and water options. Visitors can embark on a boat tour of the mysterious 466-meter-long underground river, experiencing the unpredictable waterways and feeling like they're traveling through a time tunnel. Alternatively, visitors can stroll along winding paths, admiring stalagmites and stalactites, and experiencing the mysteries of winding paths. • Rich and captivating cultural heritage: Meishan Dragon Palace is located in the heart of Meishan culture, and local legends abound. Legend has it that the Yellow Emperor transformed the Nine Dragon Peaks into nine blue dragons here. Attracted by the Meishan scenery, these dragons have resided here for thousands of years. Traces of ancient life can be found within the cave, and the scenic area's "Meishan Wu Nuo Cultural Exhibition" allows visitors to experience the mysteries of Meishan culture. • The scenic spot has won numerous honors: Meishan Dragon Palace is a national 4A-level tourist attraction and a national natural and cultural dual heritage site. It is also praised by experts as "the most beautiful geological museum in Asia", "the first in Hunan, first-class in China, advanced in the world, and can be called the best karst cave in the world". Its quality has been widely recognized.
M23***84Although there was some light rain before the summit, we were still very happy. We drove to the summit, which was only 200 meters away. The heavy rain and dark clouds made us dare not go there. We left with regrets, but we will find another opportunity. The misty village at the foot of the mountain is another realm.
M35***59The Moon-Lanyue Ancient Road is 6.5 kilometers long. The Ten-Li Painting Wall is worthy of its reputation. It is worth walking up and down. It is called Little Guilin and has beautiful natural scenery. The 128 yuan package ticket allowed us to drive to Semei Lake and walk through the entire Xianren Cave (the tourists behind us suggested walking to the Xianren Bridge and returning along the original route, because the scenic area needs to be developed and improved. It is easy to continue walking out. The 800-meter distance to the shuttle bus stop is too sunny. There is no shade at all, which makes people walk painfully. It is really hot in summer vacation), climb up and down the mountain to complete the 13-li cliffside Moon-Lanyue Ancient Road, and go to the Geological Museum. The ticket price is super value. (Including the price of Xianglu Mountain, but we didn’t climb it because we didn’t have enough time. It is a scenic spot that can be abandoned) In addition, the boat ride costs another 40 yuan, which we didn’t experience.
Anonymous userGuanyin Cave Ice Springs Scenic Area is a peaceful nature spot with scenic trails, waterfalls, and mountain views. The fresh air and lush greenery make it perfect for a relaxing hike or a quiet escape from the city
Fiona AHRLocated in Lengshuijiang City, this naturally formed karst cave was also a filming location for the scenes involving the White Bone Demon and the Flower and Fruit Mountain Cave in the 1986 TV series "Journey to the West." It's definitely worth a visit, but it doesn't seem to be very crowded and is quite off the beaten path.
霖霖爸LLBIt is very lively, and the food in many places is very unique. You will never want to leave after eating.
