GGuest User: This hotel has a昭和 (Showa) era charm; though a bit old, it's well-maintained, clean, and tidy. The room size is quite generous compared to typical Japanese hotels. It's a 5-minute walk from Machida Station, surrounded by many shopping malls, though they don't offer the 5% discount you might find in downtown areas. The Machida bus station is very convenient for airport transfers. I'd recommend it for guests who have a lot of activities in the vicinity.

This winter, let me take you on a snowy romantic encounter in Hokkaido❄️ From Kutchan Town to Machida City, a journey across Hokkaido's stunning snowy landscapes that I must share with you! 🌟Trip Highlights: · Stay at the stunning mountaintop hotel by Lake Toya, The Windsor Hotel Toya Resort & Spa, with a 270-degree lake view · The ultimate experience of soaking in hot springs in the snow · The warm small-town atmosphere of Minami Machida · The breathtaking mountaintop observation deck "Kōchōsō" DAY 1: Dreamy Lake Toya Journey 📍The Windsor Hotel Toya Resort & Spa This top-tier resort hotel located on the shores of Lake Toya is definitely worth a special visit! Be sure to book a lake view room so you can open the curtains in the morning to a breathtaking lake view. The hotel features top-notch hot spring facilities; I highly recommend experiencing the outdoor hot spring in winter—soaking while watching the snowy scenery is pure bliss. The hotel breakfast is also excellent, allowing you to enjoy the lake and mountain views while dining. DAY 2: Explore Kōchōsō 📍Mountaintop Kōchōsō Address: 299-8 Mizuho, Kutchan Town Set off early to the spectacular vantage point "Kōchōsō" in Kutchan Town, an excellent spot to admire Mount Yotei and Hokkaido’s snowy plains. Remember to wear slip-resistant boots and be cautious when hiking in winter. Once you reach the summit, the 360-degree panoramic view dusted with snowflakes will make all the effort worthwhile! For photos, it’s recommended to wear light-colored clothing to stand out against the pure white snow. DAY 3: Warm Moments in Minami Machida 📍Minami Machida The final stop is the cozy small town of Minami Machida, truly a "downtown food paradise." I recommend trying the local specialty "Machida-yaki" and warm oden 🍢. The city center is small but rich in everyday life atmosphere, perfect for a leisurely stroll to experience the daily life of Hokkaido locals. ✨Practical Tips: · Check road conditions in advance when traveling in winter · It’s recommended to book hotels 2 months ahead · Hokkaido’s winter temperature varies greatly, so layering clothes is very important · JR PASS is very suitable for this kind of long-distance itinerary

Just a 35-minute trip from Shibuya 🛤️ Finally visited the Snoopy Museum I've been dreaming of. It was my first time at Minami-machida Grandberry Park, and there was so much to do that the day flew by. They even have workshops! Next time, I really want to try making a Snoopy mascot tag ♡ ......

🐾If you're in Tokyo and love Snoopy or the Peanuts gang, or if you have a free day and don't know where to go, I recommend visiting the Snoopy Museum Tokyo. The word "cute" is used here countless times! 🐾Inside, you'll find everything from the creation of the characters, their drawings, and the storytelling behind them, to the history of the artist. The exhibits are presented in pastel colors, making for incredibly cute photos. 🐾There's even a room with a giant Snoopy lying in the middle, projected with images of him playing hide-and-seek – absolutely adorable! 🐾To get there, take the train to Minami-Machida-Grandberry-Park Station and walk 180 meters. 🐾Entrance fee is 2200 yen at the counter. #TokyoTravel #Snoopy

1. Age.3 (Asakusa Branch): 100/10. This fried sandwich filled with fresh cream and custard, finished with a crème brûlée topping, is an incredible flavor bomb. 2. Marion Crepes (Tokyo Skytree/Multiple Locations): 100/10. The legendary crepe spot. They offer tons of variety with soft batter, airy whipped cream, and juicy, sweet strawberries. 3. Mini Stop Popcorn Chicken: 100/10. I’m obsessed! These are coated in fine breadcrumbs and fried to perfection. It's incredibly crunchy—a mandatory pitstop every time I’m in Japan. 4. I’m Donut: Tried the famous custard donut (10/10), while the Lime donut was a 7/10. 5. Penny Lane (Tokyo Skytree): A lovely bakery. Even just one pastry here is a solid 10/10. 6. Asakusa Unana: Famous grilled eel rice near Asakusa Temple. The eel is fresh and flavorful, but the rice I had was a bit too firm. 7/10. 7. Sukiya: The go-to beef bowl chain found everywhere. It’s a guaranteed 10/10—consistently delicious and very affordable. 8. Matsuya: Another beef bowl favorite, but the flavor is richer and the meat is slightly thicker than Sukiya. Equally cheap and tasty. 9/10. 9. Tentora: Solid tempura bowls. 8/10. 10. Asakusa Seisakusho Tempura Chips: Tempura that has been pressed flat and seasoned with various powders. 5/10. 11. Saizeriya: The Japanese-style Italian chain. The fried chicken was a 6/10, but the grilled lamb was a 4/10. 12. MAISON GIVRÉE: A dessert shop I visited near the Snoopy Museum. Delicious treats and lovely staff. 9/10. 13. EKIMISE Asakusa (B1 Floor): The place for bargain bento boxes! If you want fresh, cheap meals, head here. I got a Salmon Ikura Don for only 182 THB—an absolute steal. 9/10. 14. Amazing Coffee: The cafe for LDH agency fans. Their Matcha Latte was surprisingly good. 10/10.

There are some places you go into for just an hour, only to find yourself two hours later at the exit with a bag full of merch, thinking, "Wait, why didn't I grab that one too?" 😂 📍 Snoopy Museum Tokyo The museum is located in Machida, about an hour's drive from central Tokyo. But if you’re a Snoopy fan, the trip is definitely worth it. The real danger begins right at the entrance. 🖤 A massive Snoopy 🤍 Vintage toys and rare merch 🎨 Original illustrations and character history ✨ Light installations 🎃 Seasonal displays 🧸 Figurines and collectibles 🛍️ A massive store filled with exclusive merch The museum is small—only three floors—so it’s easy to see everything in 1–2 hours. But here’s the problem: it’s almost impossible to leave. Every room makes you want to stop, look at every tiny detail, and, of course, buy something. 😅 After the museum, be sure to check out the themed cafe. 🍰 Snoopy-style desserts 🍽️ Branded tableware 🖤 A perfectly themed interior down to the very last detail Here’s a pro tip: the museum is right next to the Grandberry Park outlet mall. You can easily combine your visit with some shopping—there are plenty of Japanese brands and even a Sanrio store there. ⏱️ Budget about 2 hours for the museum, shop, and cafe. If you want to wander through the outlet mall, you’d better set aside a whole day. 📌 Save this: if you’re traveling in Tokyo with kids or just embracing your inner Snoopy-obsessed child, this spot is a guaranteed favorite. And yeah... leaving without a Snoopy in your suitcase after this is next to impossible. 🖤🤍
Alex13131312I went on Saturday, and it was quite crowded. Once inside, you had to scan a QR code to get a photo opportunity with the characters, and that was only available for the afternoon. The boat parade pass was also only available for single people. It's an indoor amusement park, so there aren't many attractions. There are shows to watch, and you can eat various character-themed foods, which are very cute. There are also shops, Ichiban Kuji (a type of prize), claw machines, gashapon (capsule toys), etc.
栗子月饼I'd heard it was crowded before, thinking it wouldn't be too bad, but I went on a Wednesday, and it was incredibly packed! The big rides had queues of 30 minutes to an hour, almost as long as Disneyland. The rides themselves were quite fun, but unfortunately, the instant noodle rafting was under maintenance that day. From the moment the park opened in the morning to taking the cable car and then entering the park, there were queues everywhere – it was exhausting. If you want to come, choose a different time of year, like outside of summer, as there are just too many students.
天天追逐马奇达Booking through Trip.com and with Trip coins, cheapest deal around. Nice to have an open viewing platform. Advantage, excellent open air experience. Down side. If the weather is like today on Tokyo (rain), all you will do is get wet watching the clouds. Even though the lower deck is enclosed, rain pub the glass will spoil. Choose Your day carefully.
Anonymous userDespite the fact that there are always a lot of people , I love this street ! It has this unique atmosphere.
A_lionnaThis massive attraction is absolutely worth a visit, especially for Harry Potter fans, and even casual viewers will enjoy it. Strolling through the filming locations and seeing the actual sets, props, costumes, and special effects is truly captivating. I spent almost the entire day there. There are cafes where you can eat and relax, and you can also buy some great souvenirs before leaving. Definitely worth the trip!
TheMerryRoamerIs a 1 stop for you to try all the different ramens in Japan! Do prepare some time for this visit~ there are carparks nearby.
_TI***86So much fun with the family at Tokyo Tower! We loved the great views and good vibes. ❤️🗼
Pang Siew ChongVisiting the **Ghibli Museum** was a truly magical experience. It showcases the artistry behind animation, highlighting how Ghibli, a pioneer in the field, created beautiful films without modern computers. Seeing the meticulous process of hand-drawing and painting each frame was awe-inspiring.The museum's architecture and interior perfectly capture the whimsical and mysterious essence of the Ghibli world. While photography isn't allowed, this enhances the experience, urging fans to immerse themselves fully in the magic of the exhibits. Each entry ticket resembles a film strip from the animations, making it a beautiful keepsake of the visit. It’s no surprise that the Ghibli Museum remains a favorite among locals and tourists, with tickets often being hard to come by. Overall, my visit was unforgettable and a must-see for any Ghibli fan!
