DDamayantiYenni: I've become a regular on family vacations. I want to see green views and cool air. You can also have breakfast in your room without having to go to the restaurant. You can choose the menu, don't be stingy... But because this is an old hotel there are some problems in the bathroom

PPoedjiastutieDwi: It is not like before when I stayed the first time in this place. They offer a lot of fun activities like buggy car rides, enjoying gelato, and swimming. But this time no more buggy car, no more gelato. The swimming pool is still okay, but due to the rainy season, we stay away from doing it. Not many activities we can do. I stroll along in the morning. The security was approaching us, not allowing us to walk on the pathway. They told us that the golfers will start to use that area. So what the hell am I doing here in the resort? What makes our stay inconvenient is mosquitoes in my room.

My recent stay at Baobab Safari Resort in Prigen truly exceeded my expectations—no wonder it made Trip.com's Top 20 4-Star Select Hotels in East Java! I’d rate its selection a solid 5 out of 5 for its luxurious environment, complete facilities, and high-quality service. The resort offers unbeatable value for money, and the experiences were both unique and memorable. One of the standout moments was being able to feed animals during breakfast and dinner—a real treat for families and especially kids! 🦒🍽️ The animal-themed desserts added a special touch, and watching wildlife right from the room window made the stay feel like a real adventure. For those considering a visit, here are some tips: If you plan to join the animal feeding, contact the hotel and book early since slots are limited. Most animals are only active during the day, so plan your wildlife encounters accordingly. In the evenings, enjoy movie nights and delicious firewood pizza by the fire—perfect for winding down after a day of exploration. Overall, my experience at Baobab Safari Resort was so impressive that it’s an easy recommendation for friends or anyone seeking a remarkable 4-star getaway with a wild twist. My trust in Trip.com's curated lists has greatly increased after this stay!

Trans Luxury Hotel in Surabaya is far more than just another five-star destination; it redefines urban luxury in exceptional ways. The moment you step through its glass doors into a lobby filled with natural light, it’s clear this hotel operates on a whole different level. The architecture harmonizes modern Indonesian artistry with sleek global minimalism, offering stunning views of the city and the distant silhouette of Mount Arjuno from virtually every angle. Floor-to-ceiling windows are the heart of the design, ensuring breathtaking scenery at every hour, whether at sunrise or sunset. The guest rooms elevate the experience, blending luxurious textures like Italian marble countertops, hand-carved teak wood paneling, and silk‑textured wall coverings. Beds covered in Egyptian cotton with plush down toppers bring unmatched comfort, while automated drapery and ambient lighting operate seamlessly without feeling over-engineered. The bathroom rivals a private spa, featuring a freestanding stone soaking tub, a perfectly calibrated rain shower, and twin vanities hewn from polished onyx. His‑and‑hers amenities are presented in custom ceramic containers, while every brushed bronze and matte black fixture feels meticulously chosen and adds to the overall elegance. However, the pinnacle of this hotel’s luxury has to be its breakfast. Hosted in an open-kitchen atrium overlooking a serene water feature, the buffet is an unmatched culinary showcase. The Western spread offers freshly made croissants every twenty minutes, European cheeses, and perfectly cooked eggs remembered by the chef. The Indonesian selection honors the archipelago, with rich soto ayam, nasi goreng adorned with crispy shallots, and crackling lumpia. Eastern specialties include Japanese miso soup, Chinese congee with preserved eggs, Korean‑inspired kimchi pancakes, and silken tofu. The juice bar crafts drinks with sugarcane, watermelon, and passionfruit on request, while the pastry chef presents daily "heritage cakes" inspired by colonial recipes. Every aspect is refined daily, and the quality of each dish is consistently impeccable, as if tailored for each guest. Trans Luxury Hotel doesn’t just meet five-star standards; it exceeds them across every category. Its sweeping views feel cinematic, every material exudes opulence, and its bathrooms redefine indulgence. Most notably, its breakfast elevates the hotel to a category of its own. For those in Surabaya, this place isn’t just to rest but to relish, to cherish, and to revisit—a standout gem in a dynamic city.

If you're passing through Pandaan or just finished exploring the Prigen area, OMAH PADHANG is definitely a dining spot worth stopping by. Dining against a mountain backdrop with cooler air makes the culinary experience even more enjoyable. Good place, good people✨✨✨ Bringing the family to eat and relax in a place with fresh, even cool, air like this is truly the best. For those of us who live in Sidoarjo or Surabaya and have to deal with the blazing sun every day, escaping to a cool place is always a favorite. Prigen is one of the closest to us, just take the toll road, about an hour, and you're there! This time, I tried Akarsana Cafe & Resto, which has a daytime vibe. You can see the fresh green view from up here (they say it's also beautiful at night because of the city lights). Seriously, it's so refreshing here. The food is absolutely delicious. This first time we've been here, my in-laws and siblings were all laughing. And it was all worth it. Indonesia Safari Park II Prigen is the ultimate wild escape, and OMG, I’m obsessed! The staff here? Literally the friendliest ever; so warm and genuinely caring. You can tell they love their job, and they totally make you feel at home from the second you walk in. 🥰 The best part? The animals just roam free! Yup, you’re not looking at them through boring cages; they’re out there living their best lives, and you get to vibe with them in their own element. It honestly feels like stepping into a real-life jungle safari; sooo good, even as an adult! Trust me, this place makes you fall in love with the wild all over again. 🦒🦓🦘🐅 Happy, relaxed vibes all day, whether you’re a kid or just young at heart. Pro tip: come in the morning for cooler weather and peak animal activity! And don’t forget your camera; these views and experiences are next-level.

This place is seriously one-of-a-kind; imagine staying in a place surrounded by wild animals! 🦒🦌🦓 The vibes are next-level epic. Even if you're grown-up, you'll feel totally hyped; yep, the adults were obsessed too! We stayed here for two nights, and every moment was an adventure. The breakfast spread was sooo good, with tons of local dishes. They totally nailed our request for vegetarian meals; shoutout to the super friendly staff for making it happen! 🌱✨ Bonus: There's a shuttle that takes you straight to the safari park, making everything super easy. We spent a whole day exploring the safari and honestly, it was a blast!

The first time I came here, I really enjoyed it because the rides are really good for little ones. If you go there, don't forget to bring a hat or umbrella, because the weather is quite hot when it's hot, and if you go in there it's forbidden to bring food in, okay? But don't worry, there are lots of stands selling drinks. , the price is also pocket friendly. The most interesting thing for mothers and mothers is the restaurant, the food is delicious, the prices are pocket friendly.
Angga WahyuLoved the safari park and the tour. Would recommend to go during weekdays as it is quite empty and you would get to see the animals up close. Went on Friday and Saturday and it was very different. On Friday we got to tour the safari in a van where we got the animal so close to us and open the window but on Saturday, it was on a bus where you can only see the animal from afar. Went for the feeding with carnivours and my kid loved it!
