Raoping

Raoping County is to the east of Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province, bordering Fujian Province to the east and the South China Sea to the south. Numerous mountain peaks rise from the north of the county. Rolling hills cover its central portion, and the plain in its south offers many coastal islands and natural harbors. The natural environment is rich and varied, with mountain, stream, lake, and ocean resources. Famous attractions include the Daoyunlou, a fascinating old traditional building, the Qinglan (“Azure Mountain Mist”) Geopark, the Green Island Resort (Lüdao Shanzhuang), and the Tangxi Reservoir.
